## AR Magic Show Description
HOW IT WORKS

The app is easy to use: Aim your smartphone camera at an empty space on the floor at least 2 meters away. As you aim, move your camera to scan the floor. A white circle appears. As soon as it is completely white, touch it. This way you can position the magician like a hologram.

WHAT IT’S ABOUT

Simon Pierro is best known as the iPad magician. His performance at The Ellen DeGeneres Show made him a world-wide (internet?) phenomenon.
How would you like a private magic show in your living room, home office or on your patio?
Yup, that is possible, thanks to this unique AR App:

In cooperation with the university HSD Dusseldorf led by Prof. Dr. Geiger, Simon's digital magic was caught on camera inside a 360° greenscreen studio and later mapped out by room tracking devices that incorporated it into a fascinating app.

Check out a video about the development here:
Also, below is a link to see an entire virtual magic performance in Times Square, on the Maldives or on top of Table Mountain in Cape Town: Virtual Shows Around The World!

WHAT IS AUGMENTED REALITY?

Augmented reality, or AR in short, is technology that lets you place virtual images, three-dimensional animations and additional information in real environments, blending the real world with virtual elements.
Use your tablet or smartphone (iOS 12.0. or later) to bring the virtual performer into any space you choose.
