## Arbor Parent App Description
Arbor lets you book parent/guardian consultation slots, register your child for a club or trip, and manage payments all from one place. You can also use it to check in on your child’s attendance, behaviour & academic progress.

Arbor is only for parents at schools using Arbor Management Information System (MIS). If you’re not sure whether this applies to you, we recommend contacting your school office.

Use Arbor to:
- Take a look at your child’s key attendance information, including their average attendance for the year so far 
- Edit contact details for your child such as your home address or phone number
- Register your child for an after-school club
- Register your child for an upcoming school trip
- Take a look at your child's behaviour information, including positive & negative behaviour points awarded this year
- Manage your child’s payment accounts and pay for meals or trips directly 
- Track your child's academic progress, including the targets they’re working towards this year
- Download report cards
- Book slots at parent/guardian consultations
- See your child’s timetable
- Add new medical information about your child
- Check upcoming homework assignments

This app sets terrible quality expectations for our children and discredits our fine educational institutions by being associated with them. I notice no reviews have been responded to (at least recently), as if we needed more evidence that users do not at all feature in this company’s list of concerns. Parents: please encourage your schools to choose quality products (so, not this one)!

You know if a school uses this app, they just do not care about connecting with the parents at all. Horrible, clunky, over-complicated and so bad that you can just keep clicking through to the profile over and over again. This interface must be seriously cheap for schools to continue using it after trials with all of the complaints they get about it. 
If you thought ParentPay was bad, try this - they both need to be in the same bin. Disgusting.

It’s a nightmare. The website lets me log in, but the app doesn’t with the SAME password. It’s also so clunky to use. Only use it because we have to.

Parents view - homework does not show up reliably. It is shown overdue, or not submitted, despite being done and the student has pressed submit. I now have no idea if things are due or not - reallly unhelpful. If it is the teachers not marking it, then it is still a terrible system. They managed fine on class charts so why not this. Genuinely cannot stand it and will be lobbying the school to ditch it. Really bad job, thanks for nothing forcing parents to use your rubbish system.

School switched to this from other apps and in doing so parents have lost loads of functionality. Particularly irritating is the apparent inability of the app to both auto top up lunch money payments, and notify when the balance is low. I don’t want to have a huge balance available in case my child is tempted to spend too much, or made vulnerable to spending money on peers (due to disability). Have raised this with school to no response, and even emailed the developers of the app who  first said they couldn’t speak to me because I wasn’t a school, then sent a guide through to adding money, which wasn’t my question! School have since phoned and said they are frequently having to call home to ask for the app to be topped up, and fielding calls from irritated parents with the same issue. No idea why the developer is so reluctant to engage on this, would presumably be a straight forward fix for them.

Just when you think school payment apps cannot get worse, they switch to Arbor. I have two children at different local schools, both are now on the arbor app. One child’s account is no problem, but the others I cannot log into as it states the password is different. When you use the password reset function for the specific school it sends a reset email for both, but the links will expire or not actually work, so back to trying to reset the system again!
I have now tried about 20 times and still am
In the same position, one account accessible and one inaccessible.

Shocking app, not user friendly at all. I’m constantly having to delete and reinstall the app just to get it to accept my bookings. Very poor and would avoid if your school is thinking of using it.

This app is frustrating to use as a parent.

There’s no concept of a shopping basket, so if you have multiple things to pay for or say twins you have to go through a terribly designed and unclear payment process entering credit card details each time.

Layout is poor and the way it manages multiple children or schools is terrible

not being funny mate but why can i not see my timetable properly, my positives and negatives, my amount on my lunch money and my attendance and if i was late or not... and most importantly my homework.. what kind of stupid incompetent app is this and who thought it would be a good idea to design it???? it's baffling youre even making a profit from this; whoever approved this so called app should be jailed thanks ! sort ur self out
