Short cinematic stories with one question after each. 70,000+ learners across 50 countries. 880,000+ lessons completed. HOW IT WORKS Watch one story. Five minutes, made like a film, researched and sourced from real history. Answer one question. A couple of taps is what makes it stick, the part a 400-page book never does. Keep the streak. XP, progress and gentle nudges turn five minutes into a habit you keep. No background needed. You start at the beginning and build forward, one story at a time, the same way a language app teaches you a language. WHAT YOU LEARN Stories of the prophets. Three full eras, in order: Adam and Idris, Nuh and the great flood, Ibrahim the friend of God, Yusuf the dreamer, Musa and the exodus, Dawud and Sulayman, Maryam and Isa, and more. The prophets' stories, told properly. Seerah and the rise of Islam. The world before revelation. The first revelation in Mecca. Standing firm through persecution. The hijrah and the Medina mission. A full seerah course in short daily lessons. The Islamic empires. The Umayyad dynasty, from the rise of Damascus to the fall. Then Islamic Spain across three eras: Tariq's crossing to Gibraltar, Cordoba rising, the Caliph's library and science at its peak, the Alhambra, the keys of Granada, and the hidden faith of the Moriscos. Women of Islam. A whole era on the women written out of the textbooks: the mothers of the faith, warriors and resisters, scholars, queens and stateswomen, including the Muslim woman who founded the world's first university. Along the way: Saladin, Ibn Battuta, the Islamic golden age sciences, the mosques and libraries of Jerusalem, Cairo and Cordoba, and where the five pillars of Islam came from. PICK THE PATH THAT SOUNDS LIKE YOU For me. Reconnect with your own history, and see how it shaped the world far beyond religion. Good for new Muslims and reverts, and for anyone who knows the stories only in pieces. For my family. Screen time you don't have to worry about. Every story is made for a 4+ audience and vetted before it ships, so you can hand the phone over and know what is on it. Simple questions parents and children can talk through together. Used by homeschooling parents and weekend school teachers. For fun and curiosity. Quick Islamic history and facts you will want to send to someone. Easy to keep up in Ramadan, when five minutes a day is no effort at all. FOR SCHOOLS AND MOSQUES Teachers, madrasahs and mosque programmes use Archives for Islamic studies, seerah and Quran-linked lessons that hold a room's attention. CREATED BY BASEL GAZI Over a million people learn Islamic history from Basel's videos. He built Archives with game designers so a passing interest becomes a daily habit. "My community is full of people who care deeply about understanding their history but never knew where to start. Most resources were built for academics, not for them." Start free. Your first story plays before you sign up for anything. A subscription unlocks the full library and learning tools when you are ready. MaShaAllah, completed first chapter and the app is really amazing. I hope this stays free as a Sawab-e-jariya. May Allah SWT accept from the creator & developers of this app! Jazak’Allah! -- Theycallmemaddy, 2026-03-01 ### ***** "Great App!" Very good app it helps you learn and retain knowledge, highly recommend -- Hahaunderscoreohio, 2026-02-23 ### ***** "Highly recommend!" I love this app! Very simple and easy to follow stories with visuals. I downloaded this to teach my child main topics and stories in Islam, but I enjoy going through the stories too! You get quizzed along with the stories to help retain your knowledge, and it gives you coins when you pass to make it feel rewarding for children. Once you finish stories, more become unlocked. Jazak Allah khair to the creators of this app 🙏🏽 -- UmmmmalikEnass, 2026-02-13 ### ***** "Yayyyy" The coolest homie made an app! The app is awesome! I love how you can start free. I will purchase it for my kids soon! Happy Ramadan everyone -- WillyWonkaandtheChocolate, 2026-02-07 ### ***** "Amazing!" This app is amazing! The videos are so nice and the information is laid out so nicely. It’s honestly so enlightening! There are also trivia questions in between videos that are really fun to answer! PS. I didn’t have any problem opening the app, and it hasn’t frozen yet. -- Malak Sadoun, 2025-12-13 ### *---- "Doesn’t work" This app freezes as soon as I try to start a program. Haven’t been able to get past that first step. It’s been weeks same issue not resolved -- Scopari, 2025-11-25 [View all Archives reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Archives In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | All Content Access Monthly | $6.99 | | Discounted Yearly Subscription | $49.99 | | All Content Access Yearly | $49.99 | | Weekly Subscription of Archives | $2.99 | ## Apps Similar to Archives -
