Essentially I was looking to help break a common loop... I would pick up my phone to check something, and twenty minutes later, I'm halfway down a rabbit hole without an intent. So I wanted to build a tool that didn't just "block" apps, but instead helped me document and understand why I was opening them in the first place. How it works: When you try to open an app you’ve locked, "Are You Sure" gently interrupts that habit loop. It asks you a simple question: "Why do you want to use this app right now?" You type your reason, and then (facing your own reason) you get to decide: Are you sure? Features: The Conversation: Your history with each app is stored as a private chat with yourself. Seeing your past reasons is meant to help you spot patterns and decide if that "quick check" was actually worth it. Active Sessions: When you do decide to unlock an app, you get a set amount of time. Once it’s up, the intention loop starts again. Privacy First: There are no accounts and no tracking. Your data never leaves your device. It’s your history, for your eyes only. Purely Helpful: No ads, no paywalls, and no annoying notifications. The app stays in the background until you need it. I built this for the fun of learning and for the benefit of reducing my own screen time. I hope it helps you find a little more space in your day for the things that are meaningful to you. And if you find it helpful, there’s an option to leave a tip, but the app is (and always will be) fully free to use. Thank you for checking this out, Ant ## Are You Sure Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/00/1a/53/001a53bd-3cb1-10bc-72db-77d2a35e6ccf/App_Preview_1.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/41/f6/dc/41f6dc03-6243-8e41-bc22-bb7350207146/App_Preview_2.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/0d/9c/a0/0d9ca06e-8d95-1a91-b7ed-50ecb62b4620/App_Preview_3.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/38/4f/f7/384ff7ac-b2a9-19d4-575b-78d14fa87dec/App_Preview_4.png/1242x2688.png) ## Are You Sure In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | Medium Tip | €3.99 | | Large Tip | €8.99 | | Tip | €0.99 | ## Apps Similar to Are You Sure - [Paleo (io)](https://apptail.io/app/paleo-io-kMgd/finland) - [Transformational Gangstas](https://apptail.io/app/transformational-gangstas-nWlf/finland) - [TeleDoc App](https://apptail.io/app/teledoc-app-dOvp/finland) - [Endomondo - Home Workout](https://apptail.io/app/endomondo-home-workout-Ieuu/finland) - [Supplements AI – Stack Tracker](https://apptail.io/app/supplements-ai-stack-tracker-wEXu/finland) - [Shift: Wake up Earlier](https://apptail.io/app/shift-wake-up-earlier-Qghv/finland) - [Ambi: Green Noise Nature Sound](https://apptail.io/app/ambi-green-noise-nature-sound-twUw/finland) - [Fud AI - Calorie Tracker](https://apptail.io/app/fud-ai-calorie-tracker-UTkz/finland) - [DailyVox: Voice Journal Diary](https://apptail.io/app/dailyvox-voice-journal-diary-DEUz/finland) ## Are You Sure Available In - [Azerbaijan](https://apptail.io/app/are-you-sure-pbnA/azerbaijan) - [Finland](https://apptail.io/app/are-you-sure-pbnA/finland) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/are-you-sure-pbnA/united-kingdom) - [Japan](https://apptail.io/app/are-you-sure-pbnA/japan) - [South Korea](https://apptail.io/app/are-you-sure-pbnA/south-korea) - [Lithuania](https://apptail.io/app/are-you-sure-pbnA/lithuania) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
