## Area 52 Escape Description
Retro first person shooter! This app is based on the original Wolf3D code by the godfather of FPS John Carmack (id). If you long for a game that brings that retro feel, this is it. Originally published in 2009 which was derived from the game that started the FPS genre Wolfentein 3D. This was based on a pet project to bring it to the iphone. Our team had lovingly created all new art, animations, levels, weapons, sounds while painstakingly keeping with the original style and capabilities. If you're looking for a game that brings the classic retro feel, this is it!

Backstory: Area 52 is a humorous first person shooter (FPS) in a classic retro graphic style and feel that runs FAST and SMOOTH. You are a janitor at a super secret government research facility and something has gone very wrong!  Aliens are running rampant throughout the facility - can you stop them before it's too late? Make BJ proud and kick some alien butt! Start off with just your Mop and save the world! 

Area 52 Game features: 
-Fast paced first person action! 
-Intuitive and fluid controls so you can focus on the FUN! 
-Multiple alien enemies each with their own personalities!
-An arsenal of weapons to find including your trusty janitor mop!
-Unique experimental and alien artifact power-ups!

I purchased “no ads” but i still get them every time i launch the game. Help!

Every time you complete a level or exit the menu there’s an ad. The game still continues while there’s ads playing, so you’re getting shot up while watching an ad

### *---- "Instant ads and poor graphics"
This game looked mildly amusing and had good reviews so I decided to check it out. As soon as I selected a level— and before I even got to try it- an ad played. A long, un-skipable video ad.

Needless to say, it wasn’t a great way to start a game. Once you lose you get another ad. Graphics are mediocre at best, and gameplay isn’t much better. Best to avoid unless you like watching a lot of ads.

I wanted to like this game, but after starting it, I went to a menu and when I came back to the game, an AD pops up.  I go to find a way to disable ads and there was nothing!

I go back to the game and ANOTHER AD POPS UP?!?!   It hadn’t even been 30 seconds…. I immediately deleted the app.

Smooth and clean retro action just like Wolfenstein 3D! Great control stick and options for different styles but I liked the default method the best. The accellerometer tilt and straffe if cool too but I preferred the simple default control. The nice thing is you can choose to go back and play any level or chapter at any point - but its good to start from the beginning to build up an arsenal!
