The Arlo doorbell is just fine. The additional cameras are a pain with recharging and such. Looking at new system.

USB cable does fit unit… downloaded app and it keeps crashing when I try to add device.

The new updated version is too slow than before and isn’t easy to find what you’re looking for, the interface is very bad and to find what you want usually takes a lot of time on general it’s very expensive system and subscription is beyond any limits and cameras save 1st motion for 10 seconds and that’s it, so funny. I regret for all the money I invest on this system

i have Logi logitech cameras and Ring cameras.i consider both systems are the best setups, picture quality, and monitoring. both show each camera when you log on.so 4 show for Logi, and 8 show for Ring( for both country locations). something Arlo might improve upon. but Arlo picture quality and playback/monitoring is quite good quality.

New update fixed all problems! Highly recommended

The cameras could be better. A little unreliable sometimes. It’s impossible to see license plates at any distance more than 20 feet. Doesn’t always detect movement, recording shuts down at the wrong time. Will change them when I can afford it. When they do work they’re great but that is seldom.

I’m involved in a museum in my area. The management spent a huge amount of money on a video surveillance system. Shortly after the warranty period was up features of the cameras began to fail. One thing is particularly troublesome as several of the cameras no longer work at night. Very expensive to replace defective cameras. Now in contrast. I’ve had my Arlo system for four years and other than a few battery replacements the system still works like the day I installed it.
