## Army Leader Book Description
The Army Leader Book iPhone app helps leaders take better care of their Soldiers. It's developed by a former NCO and software engineer, for use by junior officers and non-commissioned officers (NCOs). It organizes your Soldier data and provides key references to help you perform leadership duties more efficiently. It’s your digital “green book.”

The app developer served 21 years in the Army Reserve (9 years as an NCO, 8 years as an officer), including four deployments.

This app is a free download and can be upgraded for a small fee to manage more than four soldiers. The free version lets you try out all the features risk-free before committing.

This app will help you:
* Track your Soldiers' data, including counseling dates, ACFT/APFT scores, medical profiles, vehicle licensing, weapon qualifications, etc., as well as birthdays and anniversaries.
* Export your Soldier data via PDF to put into your hardcopy binder.
* Stay on top of key events such as upcoming evaluations due, ETS, schools, etc..
* Keep track of vehicle licensing and weapons qualifications.
* Organize your Soldier data with reports such as APFTs and upcoming evaluations.
* Take care of Soldiers with key references now available in your hip pocket, such as FM excerpts for counseling Soldiers, the suicide prevention ACE card, treatment for heat casualties, confidential helpline number for sexual assault victims, and more.

This app requires no Internet access for most features so it's functional even in the field or deployed.

Note that this app requires an in-app purchase to unlock the app to manage more than four Soldiers. The References section is free, regardless!

## Army Leader Book Reviews in United States

### *---- "Needs Update"
Been 2 yrs since last update. Should probably consider or did yall abandon the app?
-- NYU No Yeet University, 2024-09-30

### ****- "Ecosystem"
This is a great app. This app just needs to make it to where the app transfers info from one device to another. I have this app on my phone and iPad. I do most of in inputs on my IPad. But the info does not transfer to my phone. I must manually input info on both.
-- Rex_Docha, 2024-09-03

### ***** "So far it’s a good app could use some updates."
I think the app is great but my one request is make it send notifications about soldier ETS dates and other important tracking info. Like the last year of their contract I could get monthly updates on ETSing soldiers. App says it does it and enabled but haven’t seen 1 yet
-- Chosenmyfate, 2024-05-09

### ***** "Improves"
Great product! I love it! It’s helped me retain accountability and what to do next regarding my guys.

Improve:
-Picture function inside the temporary/perminant profile.
-add an address/phone # selection inside the profile
-- shellzzz3, 2023-08-09

### ***** "Must Have"
Everywhere I go I slide my subordinate leaders the cash to download this app. Absolute game changer in the field.

11B4 Scouts/Snipers PSG
-- JimmyBlueCord, 2022-12-02

### ***** "Add a section"
Very important sections from the srb

DEROS DATE (if you are a leader overseas)

And awards section

And deployment history
-- Ssg web, 2022-10-17

### ****- "This is cool"
A really dope app! What would make it a 5 star is what some people have mentioned already: include the ability to transfer soldier data via text Airdrop, ie when soldiers move to another squad, PLT, etc.
-- Steel_Phoenix, 2022-09-26

### ****- "ACFT Update"
I love the app! It just needs to make an update as the ACFT events have changed since I purchased the app. Instead of the LTK, the timed plank needs to be there. Also, an option to use a period button would be helpful as well. A period may be needed for the distance on some of the ACFT events and the HT/WT section to calculate body composition.
-- jrock80, 2022-08-01

### ****- "Good App Just Missing Some Features"
What’s there is great but it’s missing some very useful categories
-- Timbo366, 2022-06-26

### ***-- "Good starting point but to support"
I enjoy this app but if you need support the admin doesn’t t respond.

Newly promoted NCOs will find this useful, but as your grow and expand onto higher echelons of leadership or even transfer units… the limitations of this app will be relevant.

Recommendations would be:
The ability to sync with an online version so you can make more detailed changes

The ability to to transfer certain information to other NCOs as they transfer

The ability to do a mass delete or ability to delete multiple files as you change units/platoons
-- Tec619, 2021-10-29
