## Army MobileConnect Description
Instant, secure logins to EAMS-A using your personal mobile device.

Protect your Army EAMS-A account by adding second factor authentication with Army MobileConnect. After logging in to EAMS-A as you normally would, MobileConnect will send a notification to your device, asking you to approve the login, or will generate a one-time passcode to use instead.

MobileConnect will now allow users to login without a username and password once registered.  This simplifies desktop and mobile access to hundreds of Army sites backed by EAMS-A.

You may still use MobileConnectas a second factor for username and password logins if needed.  You may use automatic push notifications or TOTP for validating your second factor with MobileConnect.

Note: This app requires a US Army EAMS-A account and registration for the MobileConnectservice. Simple instructions are provided in the app.

Updated to IOS 18.1 and now the app launches and just gives me the spinning indefinite wait indicator and never moves to the actual OTP screen.

It appears the mobileconnect and Hypori teams have fixed the issues with generating tokens for Hypori. I haven’t had any issues for multiple weeks now

The app is glitchy and does not connects to the internet even with full cell coverage or on wifi. I hate that hyproi has to rely on this app to authenticate to work. This app never works.

I’m glad the developers updated the UI and the security framework however, now I get an error whenever I try to open the app saying internal data corruption and I can’t even utilize it for the one purpose it’s meant for giving me an authentication code. Aside from the inherent awkwardness of requiring two apps and manual 2FA input, the Mobile Connect app forgets me every 2-3 days requiring me to enter a ticket and wait 10-20 days for a new QR code. Makes the whole system unusable since I can't rely on it to work when I need it.

Simply put, I want to login to systems using mobile connect because my job depends on using personal mobile devices with Army systems.

I only get “invalid codes” or error messages. Intent cannot be met using this system.

I used, rather attempted to use this app for the last 12 months in order to access the Hypori Mobile app. Time after time the app just stops working. It won’t load past the logo screen. Which will lead me to having to delete the app, redownload, and then call the enterprise help desk to get a new Hypori QR code. And then re setup the Hypori log-in. This has happened almost monthly.

I give up. I’ve gotten a new phone and I’m having the same issue. This app just isn’t functional. Overall, it really needs a overhaul. It’s completely useless.
