This app is incredible, I like to use it as prompts to draw tangles but I also find that if I’m looking for a type of tangle say floral, ribbon or leaf, I can type it in the search and there are so many choices. I love when I find a new to me tangle that the step out is on the flip side. Great app and it’s free which is even better. Thank you!!!
This is a great app to help you come up with ideas for making beautiful tangles. You can combine strings, tangles, fillers, etc. There are instructions for each, it’s easy to swap out an option, and you can save the whole set of you’d like. It’s a great tool for providing inspiration or breaking you out of a rut where you use the same tangles over and over. Updates are made as needed too. Great app.
Finding inspiration is sometimes a struggle; Art Raffle turns the struggle into Magical Moments!! Everything you need to create a tile, from string to enhancers, all in one place! If you love Zentangling, get this app. You can thank me later. Even better is Eni Oken's Art Club!! It will up you tangle game for sure!
Art Raffle is an absolutely wonderful resource! It looks a being constantly updated and expanded. It may not have as many tangles on it as certain websites have yet. BUT not only does it have tangles and strings, but it has enhancers, fillers, techniques. It has guided option for when you just want someone else to pick, or freeform where you can guide yourself. And each and every option not only comes with instructions, but also comes with picture and links to projects that Eni Oken has done using that tangle etc. And more often than not there are several examples. Just a fabulous tool. Best resource out there.
I couldn’t get this app on my old phone, so I loaded it as soon as I got my new phone! So much inspiration packed in a tiny app! Definitely a must have if you do Art of any kind!
If you like tangling, this app is a great tool to help pick tangles, and learn “how to” with step outs and enhancers
Eni Oken is a talented artist and you will learn a lot from her using this app. The app itself is extremely well designed and easy to use. If you you are new to Zentangle or an experienced artist who wants to take your art to the next level, you will love this app.
This is a great app. I cannot believe it is totally free - so much work must have gone into it. Sometimes I’m stuck for inspirations and here comes Art Raffle. Thank you so much for this. ❤️
I’ve been tangling for years and I use this app when I feel a creative block. I often learn a new pattern or find a string I’ve never thought of using. The examples of various elements are so inspiring. If you are new to tangling or have been tangling for a long time, I recommend this user-friendly and inspiring app.
This is the best app I have ever used. It is user friendly and has so many tangles, and they keep adding cards. I like the fact that you have a choice to go through the list or let it pick randomly the designs. There are eight spots to fill. You decide if you want all 8 designs or less one being a string. It is a good way to improve composition. I love it! Carmen Clayton
