The app allows users to make collages from images that are in the public domain from LACMA's collection, images from the "In Wonderland" exhibition, as well as photographs from their camera and camera roll. Art Swipe is loosely based on the "exquisite corpses" created by early 20th century surrealist artists who would write or draw on a folded sheet of paper. Each participant would then pass the folded paper to the next participant for a further contribution. There is no way to clip, draw, resize, affect colors or add text. If you are interested in what the effect might be if you cut every painting in the louvre and reassembled them randomly, this app may interest you. It has nothing to do with the Surrealist drawing game Exquisite Corpse, however, and in fact flies in the face of the original creative impulse, which to be fair seems dated and unworthy of further investigation anyway. -- Mister Tom, 2018-07-18 ### **--- "Bummed..."
