Absolutely useless! Can’t be used with AirPods. Has life of its own. Don’t waste your valuable holiday time.

It’s very simple, it needs to display a number of tiles and play audio through the phone. The implementation was terrible and we could not use our headphones to listen to the audio litterally the only need for the app. Could rewrite this app in 1 day - it’s outrageous to charge 7 euros for this

As others have mentioned, refuses to play sound via AirPods. This means you’ll need to hold the phone up to your ear to listen, which makes it impossible to watch the videos with sound (you’re in a public space so can’t bother other people with loud sound).

Thought it would easier to download the app and listen to the audio tour of the Real Alcázar de Sevilla rather than using the audio guides they handed out. Wish I hadn’t bothered. Really bad app that won’t even connect to your headphones or AirPods. Had to walk through the palace with my phone to my ear so not to disturb everyone else then couldn’t see the images it was displaying. Just use the onsite guides!! Waste of €7!!

I completely agree with other poor reviews on here. I’m also disappointed that this app is allowed to be officially endorsed by the palace as they have a stall inside the main gate. Can anyone help with a refund?

This is a shockingly bad app - even in the 12th century when the first part of the Alcazar was built I expect they had higher standards for app design. The money generated by this app (€7 per visitor?!) is insane and surely means they can afford one semi-competent developer that knows what an iOS app is. The worst part is the sound. It somehow doesn’t work with Bluetooth headphones (why I don’t know - isn’t it just using native sound on an iPhone?!) and in 2023 that’s a problem when no one has wired headphones anymore. So your visit to the Alcazar is mostly listening to 20 speakers playing the guide around you…

The good: The visuals and historical content is good, The bad : This app is very very expensive , It is poorly integrated with the actual location it describes.Please Just put the app reference numbers on each room or space! It does not work with airpods! The map feature is not good.

Don’t bother. Took ages to download guide for Alcazar in Seville. Very rude and impatient assistant too. Agree with previous review, kept freezing on screen and no chance of taking a photo at the same time as listening to the guide. Stick to the audio with earphones in my opinion.
