I can no longer add favourites, and the shopping basket frequently stops working. It feels like I’m stuck in a loop trying to find and add products. The biggest issue, however, is that many basic items like bananas and bread show as out of stock on the app, yet they’re readily available in-store. I’m seriously considering switching to other shopping apps because this one has become too unreliable. -- Katy_t, 2024-12-28 ### *---- "IS THIS A JOKE! iPhone app no search bar" The recent app updates have made this a joke opened the app on the iPhone to check a product and there was NO SEARCH BAR so how on earth are you meant to find a product!! The search bar is essential you search the item you want and add it to the basket or check the cooking instructions or check the ingredients as the item you have it’s too small to read. Without a search bar in the app on the iPhone it’s totally unuseable - not checked the iPad yet but they are both usually the same/ I even turned the device sideways and nothing!!! Great way to loose customers Asda and to make life harder for disabled by forcing them to have to go to the store because the app is not useable. I lost my benefit once because I was honest and said I didn’t use online shopping but went to the store and that was enough for them to use that ad a excuse to remove my benefit and that was the ONLY reason, the lawyers were beyond stunned. Asda need to support its customers with disabilities or medical issues and make shopping online easy - who wants to spend HOURS trying to find an item that with a search bar you find in seconds. More or less called me a liar and asked to see a bank statement which clearly shows the name 'Asda' and payment made! What a joke. Supervisors refuse to speak to you on the phone so always put on hold while the person I spoke to is asking for advice. Poor customer services! I lost my entire shopping lists for no reason, it’s been deleted by the app itself. Even when I logged onto the app on the web browser there was no shopping lists on the app for my account. Not only that but if I try to make a new list the app lags so much it’s physically became impossible to use it both from the web browser and the app. I can’t remove anything in the basket without the app stopping and buffering only to not work. This is crazy, do ASDA simply not care? - overheats my phone and drains battery - having a single back button at the bottom instead of favourites and search etc makes it so difficult to jump around and add things to trolley - sponsored products everywhere in favourites, needs to go - list of items in favourites far to big visually and not as ergonomic - when jumping between pages In favourites it doesn’t take you to the top of the page you move to but somewhere in the middle - long time problem: items in shop not available in app, why?
