Want one of the nice hypercars in all the promo vids and screenshots? That’ll be like 259 hours of your life at least. Is that really worth your time today? I enjoy it almost as much as playing forza on a gaming pc. The graphics are great for what it is. The interface is clean and simple, although I've had a few bugs with resolution after locking and unlocking my ipad where the right and bottom buttons would be drawn partially off screen, but I'm going to chock that up to ios 18 being buggy. The only complaint I have is that the Nevada map is so prevalent in the early game, it gets old after a few races. But once you unlock season 2 or some additional cars, things get much more varied. Until you get to near the end and the game is broken due to a couple issues: 1) missing cards for Stingray with no way to get them 2) racer path impossible to complete because the game doesn’t count elite gauntlet seasons Both of those make it then impossible to get licenses to upgrade cars in mastery rewards. The newest free car (Chrysler firepower) also has a mastery level that the car can’t be upgraded to unlock (requires 1141/1140 rank?). -- Ares0137, 2024-11-19 ### **--- "Could have been a great game" I really wanted to like this game, but it’s definitely the worst “racing” game I’ve ever played, and Gameloft has support to match. Can’t play casually because you have to play everyday for months to unlock and upgrade good cars. Career and Mastery races are non-competitive at best. There is only one mode (World Series) where you actually race other people, but you are really playing against handicaps and bots more than racing and the handicaps are easily manipulated. The best players have cloned their accounts and use their multiple account to constantly punch down on everyone else, so it’s very tough to get enough points to advance to the next league. There are multiple bugs that prevent you from completing Career and Mastery. Their servers can’t keep up with game play so there are constant sync issues. You will have someone trying to wreck you, then all of the sudden their car blinks and they are 5 car lengths ahead. You lost all of the your speed rubbing against a bot the game implements while it’s servers are trying to sync. Again, you are playing against the game more than racing other players. Gameloft has been aware of the issue for well over a year but seems content to just collect checks instead of mounting a real effort to fix them. Wasted 8 months trying to complete a game that can’t be completed. I love it and also if you would make a very good nice update I would love it but pros are that you have to pay for your car you have to earn the coins you can smash people which is really fun.
