The mobile app gives you access to all the powerful core capabilities of the Asset Essentials solution, like maintenance requests and work orders, plus: 

- Access to work orders and assets anywhere, online and offline 
- Work timers associated with tasks and editing functionality 
- Search and filter capabilities 
- QR codes for scanning and accessing parts or assets quickly 
- Camera integration to capture and associate images to related records 
- Geolocation for tagging assets and work orders, plus visual navigation

Just started using this and unless you can carry around a computer in your vehicle you can’t do anything. Can not complete work orders or stop timers. Can not fill out anything on the workorder such as action taken or enter parts used. Feel like it was a large waste of money.

Photo upload fails under iOS Limited Photos permission. App only functions when “All Photos” access is granted, which contradicts Apple’s privacy model. Vendor has been notified for months.

We switched over to this about three or four years ago and it’s way too convoluted. The term user friendly is nowhere to be found in this program! If I could give it no stars I would! i’ve tried every suggestion to restart this app and it just flashes on the screen and then closes for no apparent reason. I shouldn’t have to spend valuable work time trying to get to my work orders, It should be there on command with simplicity.

Overall gets the job done. You can create, fill out and organize work orders. I wish you could auto fill some of the commonly used fields. Having the most commonly used options available at the top of drop down lists would be nice.  For some reason, I can’t upload pictures any more. Used to be pretty easy. Now it just shows a group of pictures that I uploaded before as selected. When I select the new ones to add to the work order and select done, nothing happens.

Been a long while using this app. We’ve gone rounds and rounds with the folks at brightly about getting bugs fixed and updating the app to function the way it was presented to us. It is faster, however no real function or purpose for this app in our field. Assets management is not a bad thing but this app and program is.

There is so much lacking with this app that I don’t even know where to start. It’s buggy and unbelievably slow. After struggling 5-10 minutes to just create a work order, completing it is a whole other mountain to climb. And this is all just assuming the app doesn’t crash and boot you to Home Screen before you get the chance to save anything. Adding parts to a work order is next to impossible, as half of the time no matter how you word something in the search bar it won’t show it. As of this most recent update, I’ve actually LOST the ability to attach files and photos to work orders, a function that is ESSENTIAL to my job. I’m not tech savvy nor are most in this field. FIGURE IT OUT.

We use this app at my company and it has some flaws, the first one is only on a computer, can you see certain sections of the work order that are not visible online the app. Like the comment section for communication between the requester and the tech. Nor can you see the association section so the tech can know what work orders go with the current one they’re working on. The filter option constantly pulls up old work orders from the past. Even with dates added and the ascending and descending options used. There needs to be a better way to filter out old work orders. I’ve manually, done it on the computer, also I’m an admin with tech background, it may benefit for a simpler clearcut way for people who are tech illiterate.

When this app decides it wants to work, it’s great! But most of the time it randomly logs me out (well within the “keep me logged in for 60 days” window), crashes and sometimes only loads some work orders. The process of trying to log back in can feel like it will be as quick as 3-5 business days. I honestly hope my company changes to something else soon.

Not only is it slow but I have to constantly keep logging in. While the app is open at random it will tell me that my session has expired and have to log in. Why? I am already logged in and working. Worst part is that the app has to log me out before I can log back in. I’m already logged in!

If you want an app that most of the times is pretty much unresponsive and takes forever to load this would be for you. Noting like deleting and reinstalling an app like this. If saving time and being productive is what your looking for, look else where. This cam all be yours if the price is right.
