## ASTB Prep Reviews in United States

### ***** "Amazing"
My ASTB score was a 52 7,9,8 and I definitely recommend this app. Especially for the simulations. If you want a good score, this app is one of the closest resources to the real test.
-- Jfinley10, 2024-12-20

### ***** "So many practice tests"
Unlimited practice tests. Best resource I’ve found, touches on more than Barrron’s.
-- Skpkss, 2024-12-10

### ***** "Outstanding App, Will Help You Get Contracted!!!"
Downloaded this app about 3 weeks before taking the ASTB for the first time for the USMC, did the knowledge tests for awhile until I was able to ace the engineering section, and tried to do an hour a day of the performance based tests, ended up getting a 7/8/7 and an air contract. The app is great for the UAV and terrain identification component, and by the end I was able to get an average of sub 2 seconds for the UAV and sub 10 for the terrain identification component. This directly translates to the ASTB!!!

The main drawback though is that the stick and throttle section is not that great for practicing. For that I’d recommend going to the Air Warriors forum ASTB section. There you can find tons of advice as well as a great simulator program for practice. Good luck to all of you future SNAs!!!

### ***-- "Helpful, but not completely accurate"
This is a good app to use to develop familiarity with the aviation sections. The OAR portion is fairly good at presenting information, however it does have some issues. An example would be the mechanical comprehension section when it has an example for average velocity the answer it gives is 136.39 mph for a car that went 5 miles in 22 minutes, when the answer should 13.63. Small typos like that are common throughout the material.

### ***-- "Amazing on your phone, could be better on MAC"
ASTB Prep has been incredibly helpful for me, especially with the UAV/Terrain identification, I crushed that stuff my first time taking the exam. Only issue is you cannot scroll on the Mac. I can do the PBMS on my laptop and it really helps with the Terrain since the screen is much larger but I wish I could go through full lessons.

### ***** "Incredibly helpful, informative, fun"
I am not in the navy, however I originally got this app to help prepare me for eventually commissioning into the navy, as well as just for fun with one of my buddies who is in the navy right now and has taken the real astb.

We have both been using this app for the past year. This app recently came out on the mac app store around June 2024, which is incredibly helpful when it comes to the stick and throttle portion and uav portion of the astb. This makes everything about this app very similar to the actual exam.

My buddy who is in the navy just took his astb the other day, after a few months of using the mac version of this app, and he got 9/8/8. Needless to say, he would have never gotten the score he did without the use of this amazingly resourceful app. 10/10 would recommend if you are or are planning on taking the astb in the future, this app will best prepare you for it.

### ***** "Must have for aspiring aviators"
Wouldn't have passed the ASTB-E without it. By far the most comprehensive study package out there. Extremely useful on iphone, mac, and ipad. Can't recommend enough.

### ***** "Achieve Your Naval Aviator Dream with the ASTB App"
I highly recommend the ASTB app, developed by Alex, to anyone preparing for the ASTB. Alex is incredibly passionate about helping you reach your goals and achieve your dream of becoming a naval aviator. In conjunction of this app and other study materials, I was able to achieve a 9/8/8 on my ASTB exam! One of the app's standout features is its unique practice sections, such as Terrain Association and the UAV section, which are difficult to find elsewhere. These, along with the other sections, provide comprehensive preparation for the test. My reaction time improved significantly by using the app's various practice tools, which simulate real exam conditions. The app offers valuable insights into the range of topics covered in each sub-section, helping me feel well-prepared for what to expect. The practice tests mirror the real exam’s time limits and question formats, making it an excellent tool for simulating exam conditions. While the actual ASTB may not always have the exact number of questions, this app comes very close to recreating the experience. Once again, I highly recommend buying this app, its only $20 to get you a step closer to achieving your dream career.

### ***** "Solid ASTB Study Material"
I recently took the ASTB and scored 63 8/8/7 on the exam. This app was a huge help in me attaining those scores especially in the performance based measures section of the test. The UAV and terrain identification on this app is practically identical to the real test and I highly recommend using it to prepare. The material in the syllabus was also nice as it generally encompasses the majority of the material asked in the actual ASTB.

Overall a great source of information to help prepare for the exam.
