Description

Asthma Tracker 3 supports you in keeping your asthma diary up-to-date by making it easy to track your peak flow values, your asthma medication intake and your asthma related symptoms. In addition, you can add contextual information to each entry by either associating it with a pre-defined event (such as a doctor’s appointment) or with individual notes.

With the built-in reminder, you can set Asthma Tracker to remind you to take your daily base medication, to measure your peak flow and to record your symptoms. At the end of each month, it will also prompt you to complete the widely-known Asthma Control Test™ whose intent is to give you a rough idea as to how well controlled your asthma is.

The aggregated information in Asthma Tracker's chronological overview leverages the Health app to let you quickly asses how your asthma is progressing. Asthma Tracker stores and displays peak flow values stored in the Health app as well as puffs and symptoms alongside your daily step count. This way you can easily see how your daily activity influences your asthma and related symptoms.

Select individual days to get a more detailed view of each entry (peak flow, puffs or symptoms) on that particular day as well as the recorded step counts on that day.

Share your recorded asthma entries with your doctor during an appointment or take an in-depth look at it yourself on your desktop or other device with a bigger screen using the built-in integration with datalinker.io, our fully end-to-end encrypted solution for secure data transmission. Just visit web.datalinker.io, scan the QR code with Asthma Tracker and your entries are encrypted on your iPhone and copied securely to datalinker for temporal storage. From there you can show it to your doctor, print or save it to PDF.

Good but not consistent

picnicgirk on

I’ve been using this app to track my peak flow and medication use for a while. It has been good but lately it has been losing data and I often have to re-input peak flow for up to 2 days. This means I have to keep a paper copy so unless that improves I’ll be looking for a new App. However it is easy to use and find information on how often I need a rescue inhaler.

Great features but keeps crashing!

AlicePea on

Love that you are able to enter symptom details, rescue med details etc. But still some development errors to be worked out (I’m sure they will be). So a neat app, worth the download for all asthmatics who need to track their daily quality of life!

Lost functionality

Ansk on

Used to be a good app but now no longer takes you through a monthly asthma “test”. Though the test may have little if any diagnostic value, I did like it because it gave me an overall sense of how my asthma is being handle. Sadly am deleting this app as I have another app which can do tracking for me and give me graphing on the fly.

Good little app

HoochBaby on

I’m a recently diagnosed asthmatic so this is all new to me. I like the simplicity of the app which gives me confidence I’m doing things right, but two changes would make it perfect for me. 1. The colour code of the PEF could follow the standard reference range with three colours not two. 2. The symptoms recording does not allow for multiple entries in the day, unless this a bug? I have emailed twice through the app but not got a reply.

Broken

vaguedisclaimer on

Most recent update completely broken. Can't add symptoms or label puffs.

Was good, but now limited functionality

panyan on

I am using this to manage my asthma, was good as I was able to specify the exact medication I was using, now I can only add the number of puffs and the time and date. Cannot specify which inhaler I am using. Also used the notes feature when I went running, all I can do to add a note is time and date, can’t write anything anymore! Won’t be so easy to work out when I need to start using a new inhaler. Also needs to link with watches such as Fitbit or Garmin as I don’t always have my phone on me to count steps!

Doesn’t work!

Stuck on the welcome slide! Reset and retried a few times but still doesn’t work

The idea is great, but glitches.

Kayss25 on

I think the look, the idea is sound! I really wanted to use it an keep track but unfortunately it’s stuck on the “Welcome too set up section” I’ll revisit one day but for now 😔sorry. Get some one to fix it please!

Doesn’t work

I attempted to download this app. Problem is they stopped supporting this over a year ago so won’t work on iOS 14
