Can’t log in.

I really enjoy Astronomy Magazine. Definitely my favorite one out there. The app won’t let me log in. Which makes it useless. This is unfortunate. Please fix this application.

Please fix this app

You guys are great, but you absolutely need to fix this app. Your readers are here, your readers are digital.

Disappointed

Two MANY commercials. Half or better thumbnails commercials. Ridiculous! I’m out, all done with this crap.

Disappointing

I renewed my subscription after a 4 year hiatus. I never received info on how to access my digital subscription. When I called Kalmbach publishing they told me that they no longer support the Astronomy magazine app. So why is it still in the App Store. So sad to see how horrible the magazine has become.

Embarrassing!

I have a question for, Kalmbach: are you seriously not ashamed of yourselves maintaining a garbage app like this? This app is designed before the release of the App Store … you ought to tell people before signing them app for a digital subscription that there’s no way they’d be able to access the digital content ! This is garbage.

More zoom is needed.

Deacon Grey on

United States

This app is workable, but barely. Please have mercy on your older readers and allow the pages to be zoomed MUCH more than they are in the current version. Literally, we'd be much better off with a simple PDF viewer at this point.

Unusable

As others have said, this app should get a negative rating since it is totally not usable—I cannot even log in. Called Astronomy magazine and was told to contact Apple. What does Apple have anything to do with the log-in of the app, which is developed by Kalmbach media? I was able to access the digital version from zinio.com or Zinio app. However, the digital content is simply scan of the pages. National Geographic digital content is much better tailored to the online consumption.

What a mess

I’m not even sure what I’m supposed to do after managing to log in. There’s no way to manage your subscription from this app. Grrr.

Terrible!

Have never been able to read a single issue since the app does not work. Have tried reinstalling many times but it still won’t work.

Agree it is UNUSABLE

I’ve tried to reload the new app several times, and it will not “restore purchases”....just sits there trying to update? If not fixed soon, I will delete my subscription. I’ve had Astronomy magazine for decades and sad to see the new app fail...
