Each target has a calculated visibility score that measures what percentage of the night the target is visible for and a season score that measures how close the target is to its opposition from the sun. The algorithm makes use of both of these scores and information about the moon in order to present the user a list of possible targets to image. Choose any date or location to get information for. ## Astrophotography Planner Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource126/v4/73/38/57/7338576f-f0c4-3e34-a619-18301ca22c94/97198697-202f-4abe-a352-af0b0470d34e_Simulator_Screenshot_-_iPhone_8_Plus_-_2023-10-11_at_21.38.58.png/1242x2208.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource126/v4/40/13/ba/4013bac4-7cf1-10f4-ad93-2ca59811bd59/db89f84a-11cc-481a-a528-4be381af5e40_Simulator_Screenshot_-_iPhone_8_Plus_-_2023-10-11_at_21.40.32.png/1242x2208.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource116/v4/3a/5f/0b/3a5f0b44-5f92-b00f-5a98-c48a46221982/02c2dd2c-9d89-4780-b7fd-0c54787ba608_Simulator_Screenshot_-_iPhone_8_Plus_-_2023-10-11_at_21.39.15.png/1242x2208.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource126/v4/54/94/40/54944096-bab0-19b3-0f25-db806308406d/88d8a9fa-3812-4744-90bc-b855227a254d_Simulator_Screenshot_-_iPhone_8_Plus_-_2023-10-11_at_21.39.57.png/1242x2208.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource116/v4/8e/a5/13/8ea51346-d029-5e28-88f4-264fd462c2b5/dc7dc58b-2b07-4e6d-b50a-369401542266_Simulator_Screenshot_-_iPhone_8_Plus_-_2023-10-11_at_21.39.31.png/1242x2208.png) - [Screenshot 6](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource116/v4/83/7d/fb/837dfbb8-9f60-590a-c6ad-1fbe245d0d70/7765b3f6-1f72-4262-9dc4-68521b4a53c4_Simulator_Screenshot_-_iPhone_8_Plus_-_2023-10-11_at_21.39.46.png/1242x2208.png) ## Astrophotography Planner Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 4 (100%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 0 (0%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 0 (0%) ## Astrophotography Planner Reviews in United States ### ***** "Really liking it so far" *Please include a contact email in the About section, I don’t want to have to create a Facebook or Instagram account to report a bug or request a feature. Just installed the app and it looks very promising. Just like to report that none of the targets in my top 5 list show images. Also, I often image from areas without cell service so it would be very helpful if all targets (or at least Messier, NGC, IC) had images saved locally without the need to access the APOD through the Internet. Other than that really liking it, look forward to future updates and features. -- walter.t, 2023-10-27 [View all Astrophotography Planner reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Apps Similar to Astrophotography Planner - [Singularity by Vaonis](https://apptail.io/app/singularity-by-vaonis-cwv/united-states) - [SkySafari 7 Pro](https://apptail.io/app/skysafari-7-pro-Ydz/united-states) - [The Sky Pro by Redshift](https://apptail.io/app/the-sky-pro-by-redshift-TwL/united-states) - [Observer Pro](https://apptail.io/app/observer-pro-UwL/united-states) - [PushToCam for Telescope](https://apptail.io/app/pushtocam-for-telescope-BOSf/united-states) - [Ouranos: Stargazing Forecast](https://apptail.io/app/ouranos-stargazing-forecast-CWfn/united-states) - [Telescopius](https://apptail.io/app/telescopius-rRZp/united-states) - [StargazingPal: Himmelplan](https://apptail.io/app/stargazingpal-himmelplan-IJqu/united-states) - [SkySafari 8 Pro](https://apptail.io/app/skysafari-8-pro-qyMx/united-states) - [SkySafari 8 Plus](https://apptail.io/app/skysafari-8-plus-tODy/united-states) ## Astrophotography Planner Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/astrophotography-planner-gLYm/united-states) - [Chile](https://apptail.io/app/astrophotography-planner-gLYm/chile) - [Italy](https://apptail.io/app/astrophotography-planner-gLYm/italy) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
