## Athena Eye Control Description
Athena Reader is a smarter, easier, more accessible way to read. Using eye tracking and artificial intelligence, Athena’s patented technology detects when, where, and how fast you are reading and automatically scrolls the display accordingly. If you can’t touch your screen or you prefer not to, you can use simple eye gestures to swipe up and down. If you have trouble focusing or remembering what you read, Athena’s reading rulers paired with Eye Control, will help keep you on track.

Key Features:
-Reading Detection with Smart Scroll tracks when, where, and how fast you are reading and automatically scrolls the content for you. If you skip a few lines or read past a picture, Athena scrolls that much more.

-Simple Eye Gestures allow you to swipe up and down with the blink of an eye.

-Use eye tracking to move the cursor and test gaze estimation.

-Choose from three different reading modes to accommodate your reading needs, Fullscreen, Focus, and Highlight.

-Reader view automatically strips out the clutter, like ads, pop ups, and other distracting elements so you can focus on what’s important.

-Share content from any web browser or iOS application directly to Athena.

## Athena Eye Control Reviews in United States

### ***** "Practical"
I just barely downloaded this and I already love it.

When I found this, I was looking for some kind of auto-scrolling app that could connect to my Kindle app. That way, I'd be able to do other things with my hands while I'm reading.

It's a shame that this app is currently only compatible with safari. I hope this changes in the future.

### ****- "Great, but with a few notes"
I think Athena works remarkably well given that the iPhone isn’t exactly made for eye tracking. I think it’s easy for the tracking to become inaccurate or unresponsive over time. A settings menu with options to calibrate tracking, manually adjust scroll speed, or to make cosmetic ui changes would be much appreciated. Also, I would prefer that the app tried to stay more faithful to the look of the original website; the default reader look is inoffensive, but websites loose their charm. I feel that it opens videos too easily as well. If it takes up a lot of space on the screen, it’ll keep opening the video, even when I’m looking nearby-ish. It would also be nice to be able to browse and search for websites within the Athena app itself. Other than that, very impressive!

### ***** "Athena is a game changer!"
I read a lot on the internet and scrolling with my thumb page after page was not only annoying but was giving me carpal tunnel. This allows me to relax and just read!
