I restarted the app, my phone, etc. Didn’t matter. I finally had to delete the app to reinstall it, hoping data would still be in there. NOPE. All of that data—POOF! What a piece of trash totally frustrating DISGRACE -- Andy37373737, 2026-09-06 ### *---- "Was working well, sync is broken" Update: well I gave up and ordered the Garmin Xero C2. The Athlon hardware and pricing is excellent but this app needs major work. I can’t get data to sync reliably and the app only shows a fraction of the sessions on the chronograph itself. It’s too bad as the device is great. Deleting, re-pairing, syncing, nothing gets all my data from device to phone. Really frustrating. Please have the dev team fix syncing if you want this to succeed. Original: I was initially impressed with the chronograph and app and everything worked well. Lately when I Connect to the chrono it shows none of my history and only a bit of my current session. When I get home some of my history appears in the app but much is missing and sync button doesnt change anything. Deleting and readding the chrono from the app worked once but gets to be annoying. Might have to look at the Garmin if this doesn’t improve. -- Taran Reese, 2026-08-29 ### *---- "Crashing" When trying to select rifle and bullet combo app crashes and doesn’t allow login. Tried uninstalling reinstalling same thing happens. Total POS app very disappointed. -- peachypickle, 2026-08-23 ### *---- "NON Functional" This version 1.0.42 DOES NOT work with APPLE DEVICES!!!!. The original version I had after purchase last year did work, but since there is a newer version I upgraded and it is No Longer available on the Apple Store! Appears this version is broken since I am unable to login using the created account. I have done troubleshooting and even deleted the App from all devices and reinstalled. I also RESET my Password (without Special Characters-just Letters and Numbers), since it keeps saying ‘incorrect Password or Email’. The account does send me a link for a Password reset to my Email. The device will still store all captured sessions until the memory is full, but not transfer them until the app lets me login to use and register the device. Maybe someone with a YouTube Channel should do a video for others to be aware? I will have to search for such posting! Thus far support has no solution! -- Majeskty, 2026-08-19 ### *---- "Completely useless" This is what happens when a company wants to be "app enabled" but doesn't care to spend money creating something worthwhile. The app doesn't stay connected, gets hung up on firmware updates, and refuses to sync any data. It's also incredibly poorly designed from a UI standpoint. The keyboard frequently covers the fields you need to access. The data structure and options would have been outdated in 1985. I spent the time to enter my rifles and all my available ammo profiles, only to realize it binds ammo entries to an individual rifle with no way to duplicate or move an entry. The included database is so embarrassingly small and outdated, I don't know why they bother. The hardware itself is solid, but I'm returning this for a Garmin C1 Xero entirely because this app is an insult to anyone paying money for this product. Do better, Athlon. -- PhillyTG, 2026-08-10 ### ***** "Turn Bluetooth “ON” error UPDATE." Well, I was finally able to get my Rangecraft Velocity Pro connected. It seemed I tried everything, but I think it was a setting on my phone. I was making so many setting changes and doing hard reboots. After I was successful connecting the rest was rather easy. Updated firmware, created more gun and ammo profiles, etc. I also watched a good YouTube video from Athlon showing additional features and how to make app changes. I am very happy with the chrono and app at this time. I only wish they had a Vortex Crossfire scope BDC reticle listed, but it is a low cost scope. Sooo, 1star to 5stars. -- sms303, 2026-08-10 ### *---- "Can’t connect" Locks up when I try to register. Can’t get past the sign up page -- jims photo, 2026-08-04 ### *---- "Sucks" Terrible ap, made by a 13 year old. Can’t even create an account -- whatever cheese, 2026-07-19 ### *---- "Won’t open" Still won’t open -- kittietavis, 2026-07-17 ### ***** "Awesome Chrono" The Chrono is great, getting it connected takes a little effort but seems to be working well! -- Dawghws, 2026-07-14 [View all Athlon Ballistics reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Athlon Ballistics Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/united-states) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/united-kingdom) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/canada) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/australia) - [France](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/france) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/new-zealand) - [Brazil](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/brazil) - [China](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/china) - [Ecuador](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/ecuador) - [Finland](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/finland) - [Hong Kong SAR China](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/hong-kong) - [Ireland](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/ireland) - [Israel](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/israel) - [India](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/india) - [Iceland](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/iceland) - [Italy](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/italy) - [Japan](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/japan) - [Kuwait](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/kuwait) - [Netherlands](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/netherlands) - [Portugal](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/portugal) - [Romania](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/romania) - [Russia](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/russia) - [Saudi Arabia](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/saudi-arabia) - [Slovenia](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/slovenia) - [Uzbekistan](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/uzbekistan) - [Vietnam](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/vietnam) - [Austria](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/austria) - [South Africa](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/south-africa) - [Azerbaijan](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/azerbaijan) - [Belarus](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/belarus) - [Chile](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/chile) - [Colombia](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/colombia) - [Czechia](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/czechia) - [Germany](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/germany) - [Algeria](https://apptail.io/app/athlon-ballistics-FFav/algeria) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
