## Atlas of Danish Fungi Description
If you are interested in mushrooms and live in Denmark, then this app is of interest to you. You can become a part of a bigger community with over 1000 active users helping each other becoming more knowledgable about danish fungal growth. Until now, our users have reported sightings of over 700.000 observations, which has helped increase our collective knowledge overall. All observations can be found on the map, and many are accompanied by photos and other notes. 

If you are not living in Denmark, this app could still be of interest to you as we still have functionality that can be used no matter where you are. You are also very welcome to contribute with sightings from wherever you are in the world, as we are alway interested in seeing the differences in growth throughout the world.

Biggest functions:
• Found out which mushroom species have been found near you.
• Receive image-based fungi identification suggestions, using our AI image recognitioning technology. 
• Upload your observations so that they can be validated by our community and the leading experts on fungi in Denmark.
• Find and se detailed descriptions and images of more than 3000 danish mushroom species.
• Create your own digital mushroom collection for offline usage, so that you always have access to check your favorites when out hunting.

This app has been developed as a part of the project Svampeatlas 2.0 which is a collaborative effort between Center for Makroecology, Evolution and Climate (CMEC) at the Natural History Museum of Denmark (SNM, University of Copenhagen), Danish Mycological Society and MycoKey. The people behind the project group are Tobias Guldberg Frøslev, Thomas Stjernegaard Jeppesen, Thomas Læssøe (SNM) and Jens H. Petersen with Jacob Heilmann-Clausen as project leader.

Note that this application can ask for permission to use your location, which is going to make it easier for your to report sightings as well as find observations near you. Use of GPS technology is subject to worsen your batterlife. Your location is secure and is not accessed by anyone, and are only shared with Fungal Atlas when uploaded as part of an observation.

Technologies such as automatic image recognition is never able to be completely precise, and it is therefore important that usage of the system is used in collaboration with an expert. Do not rely on these suggested identifications if you wish to eat the mushrooms you have found. Danmarks Svampeatlas (Fungal atlas) and Noque ApS disclaims any responsibility for any poisoning or other harmful health conditions.

Den indeholder korrekt viden om svampe, som man kan stole på, så der er virkelig potentiale! Men!! 
Desværre så fungerer appen stort set ikke! I hvert fald ikke på min iPhone iOS 17.6.1 Hvis du går lidt for hurtigt frem, stopper appen og du skal slukke appen og tænde igen. Hvis du går meget langsomt frem, i dens tempo, så kan du måske nå at bruge appen 5-10 minutter inden den igen går død og du igen skal slukke den helt og på ny gå ind på den. Nogle gange hjælper det dog ikke og så må du vente noget tid og prøve igen.

Jeg ville virke ønske at de satte en it-kyndig til at lave en ordentlig app, så flere kan få korrekt viden om svampene. Der er nogen tvivl om at dem der bruger tid på at skrive om svampene, har forstand på det de skriver om, men en så håbløs app, får det desværre til at se uprofessionelt ud.

Alene oprettelsen må være opfundet af en, der stadig sidder og jubler over sin gamle Commodore 64.

Man skal have initialer og brugernavn og kan alligevel ikke komme på. Nå, så ups, så er min e-mail oprettet og der spørges om jeg mon har glemt password, men ikke nogen mulighed for at nulstille eller komme videre …

Meget frustrerende, at bruge jeres observationssystem, når man ikke kan uploade fotos. Jeg synes det er for dårligt. Jeg har prøvet på 10 forskellige måder mindst 20 gange! Intet virker.
