String lights have been an issue since first purchasing them. Connectivity is the biggest disappointment. Tried several solutions and also had new products sent to replace them and they worked for a while and then failed again. Disappointed and frustrated.

### *---- "Ceiling fan app is haunted!"
One of the worst apps I’ve ever seen! 
Ceiling fan is haunted, it turns itself on or off when ever it sees fit! The light will turn on in the middle of the night despite many attempts at fiddling with the setting! No ability to turn light completely off, 1% is ridiculous… need some serious work! 
Just use the remote and hope for the best

It works just fine but I find the fan a little to small.Not enough CFM to fill a standard size room the time says it will take.

Unfortunately it doesn’t support Celsius degrees - Fahrenheit doesn’t make much sense to me since I live in Canada. I understand the hardware may not support it on the device, but I just don’t see any reason why you can’t convert it in the app so that people can at least make changes of the temperature in Celsius on their phones. Another glitch is that every when the app is opened it will first show a message “the device is offline” and then 2 seconds later it will get connected. It will be a much better user experience if a delay of 3 seconds can be added before you determine if there is a real connection problem and then only show the annoying error message when necessary. Finally, whenever the physical control buttons are pressed directly on the panel of the device, the app won’t operate it anymore until you press the wifi button again (which I tend to forget all the time). Wouldn’t it be nicer to allow both the physical control panel and the app sync and work at the same time? One last thing - the temperature reading is quite inaccurate, but I guess it is not a software issue though.

Update: Thanks for your very defensive feedback - it sounds like you guys have been doing everything right and there’s not much to be improved. I originally gave it a three star, but since you asked me to adjust my review only based on the app, I have to take another star off to make it fair. Nice hardware, disappointing app.

### ****- "Great concept, wrong temperature measurement"
Setup was a breeze, and being able to interact with my space heater through a smartphone is great for scheduling, etc. Love the concept.

I live in Canada, and unfortunately under settings the app won’t allow me to switch to Celsius as the temperature measurement. The settings menu is there, but Fahrenheit is the only option to choose. Strange considering this product was purchased at my local Costco here in Canada.

I’m hoping this can be fixed in a software update, if not I’ll be returning the product.

Update - appreciate the response. Because I can just set the auto mode to a one temp and use scheduling, etc., Fahrenheit has been less of an inconvenience than I was expecting. Surprised you guys are selling this in Canada with this limitation, but it is a great product overall and I do plan to keep it after enjoying it for a week.
