It seems after iOS 18.5 (when noticed), it requires PIN every time the app is opened! It needs to be updated, since last update was 2 years ago! Turns out in settings this was OFF. No ringtone letting me know someone just called. I had 15 messages waiting. The sound icon selected I tried everything before calling AT&T. Keep in mind I’m paying a monthly fee for this App. Where’s the customer service. My work around because I need this app. I check the app manually every 10 minutes to see if I have any messages.
