It will stop suddenly when record more than 3 hours.

The interface is ok and I greatly appreciate the passcode feature. The biggest drawback for me is the output file format. All recordings are saved as WAV format, so this means BIG, BIG, BIG files. It would be perfect if it can save audio recordings as MP3 format. Thanks!

A very very useful if you need to record meetings.

I like this product and it's worth the money I paid, but there are 2 area that needed to be improved as follow 1. The file send to my email as my backup does not work as I can hardly hear the file I record, the voice became so weak that I cannot hear them at all. 2. I can record or include a picture into the file which is good but it's a lot better if I can include a video into my file, this is perfect if I can do so. Thanks Jackie

Despite what the other reviewers have said I have found this the best memo taking app that works really well for me and I have spent a small fortune trying out tons of other similar apps. The extra expansion in-app purchases have been clearly stated in the app description so I do not feel cheated at all. Though a bit on the pricey side I find the extra functionalities totally worthwhile and bought the full pack. -Dropbox and other server integration(been searching for this for a long time), -trimming, copying, merging(easy and allow fine control, read help) -multiple memo mailing, -instant recording on startup(love it) -background recording and uploading, -file name prefixing customizable, -searching, -voice activation, -timer recording -user friendly interface, -appending & inserting, -compression to 1/10 size. -bookmarking, -reminder, -listened, overdue, sent indicator, -picture linking to memo, -Date/name/custom sort, -etc etc etc... (with all these features, many not found on any other apps. I think it's pretty darn good. ;)) Audio quality naturally would suffer with low quality setting and I suspect the fault probably also lies with the iPhone mic. I would have to do more testing to be sure but so far I find it pretty ok. Maybe record at a high setting then compressing it afterwards would help. Try enabling/disabling normalization too. I guess if you are looking for a cheap app that would do everything this may disappoint, as it's power lies in it's expansion pack, which the developer offers to be trialed for free for 15 days anyway. I often find reviewers that give poor ratings do so because of their "want everything for nothing" mentality. :( I have spent literally years looking for a solid app like this! Thankyou!

Sound distorts at loud levels when recording at lower quality but higher quality recordings are too large to email with no way of compressing it before.

The recording quality is well enough for me to refer back after work, but I do hope that more functions should be equipped in the paid version! The size of the recording is a bit large and I cannot directly forward to others via email. And the app's description is misleading, the functions you ve mentioned do not appear but require another purchase. To me, it's not an appropriate way to earn money. Please add those functions back in the next update or delete those misleading pictures!
