V disappointed
I downloaded this app a number of months ago and used it for recordings a number of times. I thought it was very good. However since the last update I keep getting thrown out of the app and all recordings seem to be lost.

Audio Memos is a professionally made audio recorder. It has an amazingly intuitive interface, which is easy to use and full of powerful features. Use it in interviews, lectures, music session, briefings, ... and simplify your recording tasks.

Duration and price of each subscription are displayed in our storefront. All subscription costs will be charged to your Apple ID account, starting at the confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the subscription period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the subscription period. It is not possible to cancel a subscription period once you have been charged for it. Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited as soon as a subscription is purchased. You can manage subscriptions and disable auto renewal by going to your account settings on the App Store after purchase.

Brilliant app - never fails
I use this all the time. Dropbox auto sync is a great feature.
Sound quality is very poor
I would not recommend this app. The sound quality is poor. Voice memos on iPhone is ten times better!
Great app for learning
Ideal if you're studying languages, record your dialogues or if you're studying alone - let it run in the background while doing for example pronounciation exercises of a course running in the foreground. Highly recommended.

Recording quality very good
I highly recommend this app. Pros are that the recordings are clear and there is long limit on their duration as long as you have the space. Transferring the recordings to others can be challenging and a bit quirky. Quite often it takes several steps to move a recording somewhere so that it can be shared or edited.
