Really disappointed as have not only bought the iPad and iPhone version but also the mpc2 software on windows. Was considering the mpc x next but as the apps are non functional I think I’ll steer clear. Working with other apps like Sessionband, often says 'File not found' after you've waited for a track to be transcribed. Makes the original music creation app (e.g. Sessionband, Launchpad, etc...) hang and freeze. So you have to close it and start over again, hoping that you've remembered to save your creation in the app. When it does work (80% of the time?), it does the job... but the whole interface is basic and clunky. No graphics people were involved in the design to make it user-friendly. It would also be helpful if the copying / transcription had an option to do it more rapidly without the need to listen to the track in real time during the process. This slows down the workflow. I need to find another, more efficient app to do what Audiocopy is trying to do... Only problem is the sample packs are not my sort of thing or I would’ve given a 5 ⭐️ . I am not into trap, EDM, hip hop and the like. No techno packs for a while and so slow at releasing DnB packs. Had them all forever. I just use it now to mess around with my own created stuff before exporting elsewhere. Still, it’s better than it was. When I try to Share my Track/Song it just closes the app and the same on the impcpro2 export don’t work I try to open the track in the MPC 2.0 software and it closes the application/program this is rubbish Retronyms don’t make using their apps a pleasure. The editing is not intuitive it is annoying because you spoil things that you do good with all the other stuff you do bad & wrong and AudioCopy is another good idea gone bad by your team. AudioShare is a 100 times better. The fact you make the iMPC’s app is the reason I a complaining about that and AudioCopy both in the review the AudioCopy App should be a feature within the iMPC Pro 2 making it a separate app is all well and good for people who don’t own or wish to own the iMPC Pro 2 but the features it provides should be already implemented in the iMPC Pro 2 it shouldn’t have a “third party” app doing the next update to the iMPC should merge AudioCopy with all the iMPC’s because buying expansions and sharing to YouTube should be easy enough for one app to deal with. All the tag team app workflow don’t work. It messes up the workflow. I will stick with BeatMaker 3 until you fix up your workflow because editing is rubbish it is the same workflow as Tabletop and editing midi notes was not fun in Tabletop so why you brought that same workflow to iMPC and stuck with it from then all the way to iMPC Pro 2 is beyond me. Switch it to traditional style editing rather than your way. And bring all the features of AudioCopy into the iMPC format and leave the AudioCopy standalone for those who don’t own iMPC/iMPC Pro/iMPC Pro 2. The separation is only good for those want AudioCopy stand-alone but those with iMPC’s should have all them features built in to the iMPC’s program. If you wanted to make a good app you could but you are being stingy and greedy trying to take us for every penny & pound & dollar bill. It is like you are going to make us wait another 2,3 or 4 years before you actually make a good all round app rather than separating all the good features into individual apps actually create a really good app with all the goods in One PowerHouse app that the people actually want and will support your brand fully but you are not trying to earn the respect you would have if stopped trying to lock people in working with your products/applications the point of today’s iPadMusic production is to be “free” & intuitive.
