## AudioShare Description
A sound file manager with powerful import and export abilities. If you are using music-making apps, then this tool is a must-have!

Organize all your soundfiles and midifiles on your device, and manage your AUM recordings. Record, trim, convert, normalize, transfer, export, import, zip, unzip. Create folders, rename and move files and folders around, put everything where you can find it. 

Use it to transfer files between apps and between your device and computer. For example, transfer your new track from your favorite music-making app and import into the AudioShare library, then share it on your SoundCloud account, or transfer it into other apps. Or record your live-jam from other IAA or Audiobus apps.

You can record directly in the app, from microphone, external audio interfaces, Inter-App Audio, or other Audiobus compatible apps. Preview and play soundfiles with waveform display and looping, trim and normalize soundfiles, and convert to other file formats such as M4A AAC or ALAC (Apple Lossless), WAV, AIFF, CAF with options for bit rate or bit depth and sample rate.

### ****- "Strictly a Mile Manager, Not a Jack of All Trades"
This app is a good audio file manager and plugin. Its not really meant to be an media player because its poor at providing audio player and playlist playback functionality for the Audio Unit. It plays audio and video files, but does not show video. It can convert files to m4a, etc but not to mp3. I need to note, not because of this app, but iTunes sometimes butchers your library data especially when using apps that download iTunes media. If you notice missing music from your library, go into your settings app -> music, then toggle and re-toggle relevant selectors to re sync your iTunes data to your device.

Love the app but please update it!! Please allow auv3 support aswell as the  inter app audio since there more auv3 apps available     Also please allow iCloud sync and support to save space aswell as sharing among multiple devices on same iOS account like ipad and iPhone without having to physically download and transfer it in a more hassle way.   🙏🙏 please don’t abandon the updates on this app because its so good and needed

### ***** "A must-have media file manager + so much more"
I deliberately called this a media file manager because it’s not limited to only audio files. It can’t play movies but it can extract the audio from movie files. Be sure to add AudioShare in the sidebar of Apple’s Files app. You need that to see your AudioShare files in the Files app. You can record in AudioShare including using effects. AudioShare can open files directly into a File Player in AUM. You can Normalize, Trim, Fade, & Convert files in AudioShare. Once you start using this app, you’ll wonder why you waited so long. It’s a fantastic tool! I highly recommend this app.

this is by far the best audio editor, organizer…etc  just one request though, it needs to be able to select all files when too many pile up, instead of one at a time, and in the trash section put empty trash function for further convenience….then audioshare would be PERFECTO ‼️

Absolutely love this app. Honestly one of the best ones out there for transferring or sharing files from GarageBand or Logic Pro from my iPad or iPhone. Also the recording feature is great for field recording plus you can add some of the apps to it which lets you truly design your own sounds on the fly. Used it today and will be continuing to do so with my music.

Here it is 2024 and I still use this for basic things that I do regularly. It’s missing a few functions but typically not things I do that often and not enough to stop using it. 

It’s just so useful and easy to use as a one-stop shop to prepare, organize and edit audio files. There are other apps that do some combination of what this does but in general this is my go-to most of the time. Between this and Apple Files I can get 99% of my audio file organization done very quickly and reliably.

You used to be able to press the cloud button and, oh look it’s loading up to your SoundCloud page. Now you have to do some extra nonsense, that if I didn’t go to the manny, would neve I mean  NEVER figure this out. You blew it. You blew it like a big🍆!
I bet it’s apple’s fault to. Like I just got this lame iPhone 15 and the typing and touch screen is f’ing up. But that’s not yer problem. Peace.

### ***-- "Just bought. Add Tag doesn’t work."
Audio quality seems good, but within 3 minutes of using I found a bug which for me was important. On my iPhone 12 Pro I chose “Add Tags” and the screen mascarpone up for like 1/2 seconds and then goes away. So, can’t add tags! My whole intent on buying this was to have a recording app with more robust categorizing , documenting features, plus more robust import and export. Not sure I made the right buying decision here.

For a long time now, this app has been part of the foundation of this platform for people who make and share music. At this point, it is not the only such app. For me, however, on my pad, AudioShare is irreplaceable. The developer's responsiveness and responsibility are a big part of my positive feelings for this app and his other efforts.

Postscript: I would love it even more with a fuller cut-copy-and-paste function, but the love persists even without it. The addition would just allow yet another convenience in a user-friendly app.

Recording engineer here… On that note I think this app is amazing! After recording I can Air Drop my recording to myself or send to friends how awesome is that ! Listen to different samples on a dime…

### ***** "This App is Multi-Use , & Top of the line ."
Perfect for crafting your own perfectly timed Samples …or it’s a great library to store all your Master Songs , and then store each group of Masters into their own Folder according to which genre,… or year , whatever or however you like. I love all the tools and options like fade in, fade out , trimm, etc. / normalize your master song to limit overbearing waveforms, and convert to all the the main File formats widely accepted on all the pro platforms. 
  It also was a pleasant surprise to see the versatility of its recording features with built in effects and ( audio unit effect ) effect capabilities . I’ve filled my library relentlessly and it still continues without a hitch ,… but I’ve learned that with another I-pad with Audioshare downloaded fre in my e-mail again ,…a fresh library can receive airdrops from my old I -pad ….freeing up my old songs …. And I don’t have to delete my best memories,…. Great design by the developer,…and I’ve never had to complain,… they’ve always been updating to make things even better,…. 
     
    ( Note  To  Developers ) , only one suggestion I’d make would be in the song grouping category choice,..where they give you the choice ,….Date, Name, or Size, ….I think there should be an “ALPHABETICAL” category…. But really not necessary….I always find my songs no problem.   /   GREAT APPLICATION,…THANKS.

For a hobby I write songs with the guitar. I tried other apps, but they were limited. I’m still learning how to use this one, but so far I’m impressed. I’m not sure if it is my imagination, but the recording seems clearer and stronger, I can name the recording, send it and share with others, save it on the cloud, edit the recording. To whoever designed the app: great work!!!

AudioShare is one of the most important music production apps for iOS and iPad. Meticulous and accurate trimming, converting, looping, and fading. Far easier and more accurate than just about any other audio processor on iOS. Others do much more but this is the place to get the basic edits right and it is a very usable audio storage  app. I have used it for years. It’s about time I wrote a review. Indispensable and essential! 
I do wish it would could convert video to audio but I have another app that easily does that and shares straight to AudioShare.

I have used this app for a very long time.  This is a 5 star app and is perfect as is. If there is one request I would like to see added it would be Apple Watch Compatibility. What I envision is being able to record ideas and found sounds directly into Audioshare from my watch. Use case #1: Whistle / Hum an idea and have Audioshare capture it from my watch. Use case #2: Recording found sounds directly into Audioshare from my watch.

Maybe create a record now function that captures ideas / sounds from the watch and records them into Audioshare.
