Not able to play audio file, so I can analyze it. information overload.
Almost everything is blocked behind an in app purchase.
SMAART cost me $60 and is now gone.
Base module features are equivalent to other far less expensive apps
This is the industry standard for a reason
the only reason i spent more on this one application than i have on the last seventy applications in the past five years is because the detailed description claims the FFT data can be exported as a text file. This ability is either not actually possible or so hidden and cryptic that is might as well not exist. i have been looking for an hour and cannot find the text file export function.
I have been using these tools for over a decade and sold many people on the Need for them to get them as well. I own 3 - iAudioInterfaces and keep an iPad, mic and interface at work and with me in my kit. If you need tools to tune speakers or test them, Get this and get a great mic and preamp. It works great on older iPads. It even works great on my iPhone with the built in microphone.
The Transmission Loss module costs $45 in addition to the $20 app base price. This additional cost is not documented on the website or on the app’s App Store page. I would not have purchased the app if I had known the module I want to use was an additional $45.
Works great, nothing else even comes close for iOS. Worth every penny. The folks complaining about cost have no clue. This is highly extensible professional software at a reasonable cost for basic, audio testing functionality. It’s tight integration with their hardware results in a accurate test instrument. Even when using a device’s built in mic, the app’s frequency and SPL compensation provide useful data. The idea that all of this professional functionality be provided for 20 bucks is nuts.
