Yeah, you can change the speed and that’s most definitely the selling point, BUT whenever you exit the app, it’ll close itself. And I don’t mean going through the process of closing the app by swiping up or something like that. I mean, if I pause the audio, go to check a text message, and come back, nine out of ten times, it’ll RESET ITSELF and if you didn’t save your place, you’re screwed. Very rarely, it DOESN’T happen, but that’s even crazier.  Hope you’ve got a good memory for time-codes. 

Even when I’m driving and I just leave my phone idle for less than a minute, I can see the display on the dashboard change from whatever audio file I’m listening to into a generic screen, meaning the program closed itself and now I’ll have to find my spot again. It’s wildly aggravating and while driving, very dangerous. No idea why it does this and if I could reach out to the creator, I’d tell them to fix it because I’m paying the premium and shouldn’t have to risk getting into a wreck for pausing a file for less than a minute to do something.

However,I have been using this for several years and I pay the $5.49 per year and now it is coming up and saying on some of the songs it’s DSL protected and those songs will not play. It says to go to the pro version and I did that and when I hit the button to apply, it comes up and says I already have it and it will renew this month, but I still have two weeks till it renews. If you have the pro version, it is supposed to be playing those protected files and I never had a problem in the past playing them. It is just now that I’ve started having a problem.  Why?

Something is going on with it, like the audio is, out of the blue, skipping a few seconds all through the audio once it starts to do it. Not even a restart fixes it. It never did that before and I have no clue why it does it all of a sudden after an hour or more of using it. I’m hoping the update will fix this.

On its face, this app does exactly what it claims to.  In practice, or in music practice as it turns out, even full quality audio files couldn’t be slowed down much without audio distortion and an mp3 couldn’t be slowed without major distortion.  I experimented with other apps and found on the same files I could slow down to maybe 40 to 50 percent before distorting.  With this app even 75 percent was unpleasant to listen to.  It’s possible something wasn’t right about my phone setup etc triggering this problem but other apps weren’t effected nearly as much so I won’t be using this one.

I had this app on my Samsung phone and it worked great. When I switched to an iPhone, I got the app, just to realise there's no more pitch shift capability in the app. Now, it cant open quite many of my mps. It keeps saying "Error. Failed to play the song. Please reselect a song."

I use this app for transcribing music. It allows me to slow it down to hear all the details. 

I also use it to set the tempo when I’m running. I can adjust the BPM of the song so it matches my pace! 

Love it and pro is totally worth for Apple Music integration.

### ****- "Just what I needed"
This app is the answer to a long-asked question: how to change the speed (but not the pitch) of music stored locally in my iPhone library and do it on the fly, without having to edit and then save a new version of the track. Works like a charm. The ads at the bottom are, thankfully, not obtrusive, and the interface is easy and, after a little experimenting, very intuitive. A much valued addition to my app library.

Found this app to manipulate the speed of a song as I learn it’s choreography and the ability to create sections and loop them and control the speed is great.

The controls could be q bit more intuitive but after a little while I picked up how to use them.

Overall it’s great.

Only little restriction is that you have to have the song in your phone, cannot use a streaming service.
