I love listening to audiobooks and am so pleased to have found Audrey. I just finished The Woodlanders and bought 3 more books to enjoy. The content available after each chapter added so much to my enjoyment, it’s like a mini bookclub in your pocket. The app itself is a breeze to use. It’s obvious the people behind this product care a lot. Highly recommend!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I love the Audrey app! Their guided audiobooks are a wonderful way to consume classic literature.
The illustrations are beautiful and the narrators are entertaining. Each guide provides cultural context, historical tidbits, and academic knowledge that makes me engage with the story beyond reading.
Great audiobook app!
Excellent narration and guides! A great way to immerse yourself in the classics.
More than just an audiobook
Excellent narration, knowledgeable guides, and original artwork come together to create a unique and worthwhile experience!
Makes the classics so accessible!
I got introduced to Audrey through a giveaway of A Doll’s House on The StoryGraph (another of my favorite book-related apps). And after that first listen with the wonderful accompanying guide, I got hooked. I have listened to so many classics I had never read before, and the guides give me essential context to make them more meaningful. Mrs. Dalloway, Far from the Madding Crowd, and Ulysses have been some of my favorites. Just a great app and experience all around.
Best way to listen to the classics
I have now listened to 3 audiobooks with Audrey and it’s the best. The app is user friendly, notes after each chapter/section, depending on how the book is organized.
My favorite part is that you only see the notes after you’ve finished a chapter, this helps you not feel overwhelmed with the amount of information as well as not spoil anything!
Don’t think twice, try it!
Much more than just an audiobook!
I love the multimedia guides that accompany the audiobook, cued to the chapters, and the music that accompanies the start of each chapter. The audiobook narration is superlative!
Exceptional Experience
I love this app! This app is far more than just an audiobook app! Having an expert guide’s notes really takes the reading experience next level. The guides can include playlist, voice notes, links to further resources, historical significance and connections, videos, and thought provoking questions. The illustrations that accompany the the audio book are so lovely and really add to the atmosphere of the book! Using this audiobook app compared to others is like eating a meal at a 5 star restaurant compared to eating at a dive bar. No offense to dive bars! 😆
I tell all my friends about it because I’ve enjoyed it so much. Right now I’m halfway through Ulysses by James Joyce. I never could have done this without this app. I would have thrown in the towel after the first episode, but the masterful narrator with the expert guide’s notes and linked resources I’ve found I can slog my way through it! And sometimes it doesn’t feel like a slog! Hooray!
Pride and Prjudice
I loved listening to this book. I have never put a book on audio before and I love it. The reader was great. I will definitely listen to your audio books again. Thank you for a wonderful experience. I have told my friends about your company and I hope you get more listeners.
Sincerely,
Janet
My TBR thanks you Audrey ✨
Since I’ve downloaded this app I’ve been able to take soo many classics off my TBR list and actually feel like I understood each of them. The guide alway gives you context for each book and I’ve really enjoyed the Spotify playlist they make, as well as the recommendations they show you once you’ve finished reading. Very glad I came across this app.
