Detect Smarter. Respect the Land. Aureal is a modern companion app for metal detecting and discovery-based hobbies, built for people who care about exploration, responsibility, and craftsmanship. It helps you track hunts, log finds, and understand your detecting history without ads, social pressure, or selling your data. Every hunt can be recorded with GPS trails, coverage heatmaps, time statistics, and session summaries that help you see where you’ve searched and how efficiently you’re detecting. Aureal turns raw movement into meaningful insight, helping you improve coverage and confidence over time. Finds can be logged quickly with photos, categories, notes, and locations, even during active hunts. A clean, distraction-free interface keeps the focus on detecting, not data entry. For hands-free use, Aureal offers an optional Apple Watch companion that lets you log finds and flag locations using simple gestures. Aureal is designed around responsible discovery. Built-in guidance helps you care for finds properly and avoid common preservation mistakes. Optional compliance checks can help identify items that may require reporting under local heritage or artifact laws, giving you clarity without judgment or pressure. The PermissionLink™ system allows you to request, store, and manage landowner permissions digitally. Permissions can be time-bound, clearly documented, and shared only with explicit approval. Hunt summaries are prepared automatically but are never sent without user consent, keeping trust at the center of every interaction. Mapping tools include high-quality maps, grid overlays, distance and area measurements, and offline map support for remote locations. Your hunt history becomes a visual record you can revisit, learn from, and build on. Progress is celebrated through achievements, statistics, and eco-impact tracking. Aureal highlights consistency, cleanup, and stewardship without turning discovery into competition. There are no public leaderboards and no social pressure—just quiet progress and personal pride. Privacy is foundational to Aureal. You own your data at all times. Personal and location data are never sold. Any data contributions are strictly optional, anonymized, and opt-in only. Aureal is built for people who believe discovery should be thoughtful, respectful, and rewarding. Your finds. Your data. Always. Don’t really get how it works. Though I don’t see the heatmap and I can see how to layer various hints on top of each other. Perhaps instructions could be more detailed? ######### It’s a great idea but I am finding it a little buggy? I have had to make my font and display size tiny to work it (iPhone 17 Pro - latest iOS). Also I paid the month Pro subscription, this has come off my credit card but I am still not pro. Also if I try restore purchases it says nothing found. -- RBJ001, 2026-03-24 [View all Aureal reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Aureal In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | Pro Monthly | £5.99 | | Pro Annual | £59.99 | ## Apps Similar to Aureal - [The Searcher](https://apptail.io/app/the-searcher-Tqc/united-kingdom) - [Treasure Hunting magazine](https://apptail.io/app/treasure-hunting-magazine-NFd/united-kingdom) - [Lifeway Baptist Church](https://apptail.io/app/lifeway-baptist-church-Cydm/united-kingdom) - [Daily Wellness-Relaxing Sounds](https://apptail.io/app/daily-wellness-relaxing-sounds-NVrp/united-kingdom) - [Divine: Daily Angel Messages](https://apptail.io/app/divine-daily-angel-messages-kOup/united-kingdom) - [Christmas Countdown Timer 2026](https://apptail.io/app/christmas-countdown-timer-2026-vGcu/united-kingdom) - [Ground Score Metal Detecting](https://apptail.io/app/ground-score-metal-detecting-WLSw/united-kingdom) - [Treasure Hunter X](https://apptail.io/app/treasure-hunter-x-FpAy/united-kingdom) - [Digger Land](https://apptail.io/app/digger-land-mJFz/united-kingdom) - [DigDay: Metal Detecting Score](https://apptail.io/app/digday-metal-detecting-score-FfGz/united-kingdom) ## Aureal Available In - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/aureal-metal-detecting-BfGz/united-kingdom) - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/aureal-metal-detecting-BfGz/united-states) - [Bulgaria](https://apptail.io/app/aureal-metal-detecting-BfGz/bulgaria) - [Belize](https://apptail.io/app/aureal-metal-detecting-BfGz/belize) - [Estonia](https://apptail.io/app/aureal-metal-detecting-BfGz/estonia) - [Ghana](https://apptail.io/app/aureal-metal-detecting-BfGz/ghana) - [Jordan](https://apptail.io/app/aureal-metal-detecting-BfGz/jordan) - [Cayman Islands](https://apptail.io/app/aureal-metal-detecting-BfGz/cayman-islands) - [Sri Lanka](https://apptail.io/app/aureal-metal-detecting-BfGz/sri-lanka) - [Lithuania](https://apptail.io/app/aureal-metal-detecting-BfGz/lithuania) - [Armenia](https://apptail.io/app/aureal-metal-detecting-BfGz/armenia) - [North Macedonia](https://apptail.io/app/aureal-metal-detecting-BfGz/north-macedonia) - [Nepal](https://apptail.io/app/aureal-metal-detecting-BfGz/nepal) - [Qatar](https://apptail.io/app/aureal-metal-detecting-BfGz/qatar) - [Singapore](https://apptail.io/app/aureal-metal-detecting-BfGz/singapore) - [Slovenia](https://apptail.io/app/aureal-metal-detecting-BfGz/slovenia) - [Slovakia](https://apptail.io/app/aureal-metal-detecting-BfGz/slovakia) - [Tunisia](https://apptail.io/app/aureal-metal-detecting-BfGz/tunisia) - [Türkiye](https://apptail.io/app/aureal-metal-detecting-BfGz/turkey) - [Uganda](https://apptail.io/app/aureal-metal-detecting-BfGz/uganda) - [Latvia](https://apptail.io/app/aureal-metal-detecting-BfGz/latvia) - [Azerbaijan](https://apptail.io/app/aureal-metal-detecting-BfGz/azerbaijan) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
