## Aurora AOne Description
Aurora Lighting, one of the world’s largest privately owned LED lighting and technology organisations, launched its range of smart home lighting devices in 2017 enabling homeowners to take full control of their home through their smartphone. Over the next few years more devices have been added to the range and the AOne range now features all varieties of lighting, from downlights to bulbs, switches and sockets. AOne offers a single solution for connecting your building.

This is the latest version of the AOne smart lighting system that focuses on Spaces and Scenes using a new user interface.  Use our app to control, schedule and set the scene of your lighting to create new ambiances and energy saving schedules that enhance your home, and your business, more conveniently.

In combination with smart scheduling and new sensor types, you can automate your home, triggering your favourite scenes at different times of day, or when you enter your home, or office, to make your spaces intelligent.

You can now have multiple events set for the same device making the setup of your building even more flexible. Recall your preset scenes and configurations at a touch of a button from anywhere, whether you’re sitting at home, or out at work, or with friends. Supporting Amazon Alexa, you can ask her to turn your devices on or off and trigger your favourite scenes.

Switching on lighting has never been so much fun.

An upgrade??? A big downgrade. Can’t even begin to learn how to use it as the Home Screen is an illegible dark blue - almost black.  Support say ‘that’s how it is. Tough.’  £thousands atm wasted. Can’t use it.

Not all smart lamp devices will pair with app and then to make even worse the kinetic switch just won’t pair making everything so frustrating. Tried everything on app to pair but won’t have it. I wish I never went for smart lighting 😞

Spent a fortune on aurora lighting but the tech has let me down. I’ve also got the strips and now I see loads of black spots. Looks awful. Spent well over £5k on the G10 bulbs etc. Worst of all is the app. If you lose connection with it good luck turning lights off. Your have to swap with hard wired each time. Also customer service and support is really poor, don’t get back to leaving you with lights on that you don’t want on. Overall worst experience but I’m stuck with them!

After login the app wants to scan a router QR code, I am guessing to get wifi credentials. However there is no work around other than a qr code, which I don’t have. 

You can click help which takes you to an expired zendesk link saying the developer no longer uses zendesk. 

If you click help in the App Store you are taken to the same dead link.

### *---- "Latest update seems to make it crash every time"
App keeps crashing every time I try to start it. Please get this fixed asap as I cannot control the lights in my house. 

This has been such a painful investment. When we have guests we resort to having to use table lamps in the bedrooms as the system is so glitchy. At some point I’m going to have to rewire my whole house at significant cost.

Without doubt the worst app and connectivity product / app I have ever come across! Does not connect to individual down lighters half the time even though the hub is in the same room. App full of bugs and poorly laid out. Just truly awful! Save your self a load of hassle and buy something else!

I can’t even perform a simple pairing of devices without back office help. If a power cut happens it’s back to square one. The app is useless and I can’t even set up a new account. I wish I’d stick with Phillips Hue. Such a better more user friendly system and much better value for less money.
