## Aurora Description
NEW IN 26 — EASY REPORT
Unreadable text, wrong colors, or a page that looks too dark? Open Aurora in Safari and tap “Report a problem.” Choose what looks wrong, add an optional note, and review or remove the screenshot before sending. No account needed. Help us see which pages need attention.

YOU REPORT IT. WE WORK ON IT.
We review reports daily, track reported issues, and investigate what went wrong. Your reports help us prioritize bug fixes for future Aurora updates.

Tired of blinding screens at night? Wish you could browse in total comfort, with a style that's uniquely yours?

Aurora is the only Safari dark mode built for iOS — with Focus Filter, Control Center, Live Activity, and Auto Schedule features no other dark mode app has.

Unlike the dark mode in iOS Settings or Focus modes — which only darkens the Safari interface — Aurora darkens the website content itself, even on sites that have no dark mode of their own.

MADE FOR iOS — FEATURES NO OTHER DARK MODE APP HAS
• Read in Your Own Font — the new Font tab brings 14 typefaces, from Literata and Inter to OpenDyslexic and Atkinson Hyperlegible, plus four text sizes. Per-site control, and it works with dark mode on or off.
• Focus Filter — Aurora automatically toggles dark mode when you enter Sleep, Reading, Work, or any iOS Focus mode. Built right into iOS.

• Control Center Widget — Toggle dark mode from anywhere on iOS 18+, even outside Safari, with one tap.

• Live Activity — See dark mode status on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.

• Auto Schedule — Automatic on/off at custom times. Different schedules per day of the week. Let Aurora adapt to your routine.

• Siri & Shortcuts — "Hey Siri, turn on dark mode." Automate Aurora with the Shortcuts app. One tap, total control.

• iOS Appearance Sync — "Sunset to sunrise." Aurora automatically toggles on and off based on your iOS system theme. Perfect harmony.

BUILT FOR iOS 18+

Aurora is updated for the latest iOS and works reliably where other dark mode extensions fail. Site-specific optimizations for YouTube, Google, Twitter, Reddit, Amazon, Wikipedia, Medium, and many more for the best possible experience.

BEYOND DARK MODE — A COMPLETE EYE COMFORT TOOLKIT

• Unleash Your Creativity — Don't settle for black and white. Our powerful Theme Creator lets you design and save unlimited unique themes. Your web, your colors.

• Protect Your Eyes & Sleep Better — Our Blue Light Filter reduces harmful blue light from screens, helping to reduce eye strain and improve your sleep quality.

• Reduce Annoying Glare — Tame overly bright images, ads, and banners with the Image Filter. Enjoy a perfectly balanced and comfortable view in any lighting condition.

• Fine-Tune Your Experience — Adjust brightness (10–190%) and contrast (10–290%) to match your perfect reading comfort level.

• You Are In Control — Use the powerful Whitelist/Blacklist feature to decide exactly which websites Aurora should run on.

WHY AURORA PRO?

• Unlock every feature — Theme Creator, Focus Filter, Auto Schedule, unlimited themes and fonts, and more.
• Pay once, keep it forever — the Lifetime unlock never renews. No subscription needed.
• 3-day free trial — no credit card, no auto-charge.
• One purchase covers iPhone, iPad and Mac.
• Free lifetime updates and priority support.

## Aurora Reviews in United States

### ***** "Aurora Dark Mode for Safari is easily one of the best dark-mode apps I’ve used!"
It’s great for making websites much more comfortable to look at, especially at night, and I really notice the difference in how easy it is on my eyes. The features are excellent and, in my experience, offer more flexibility and functionality than Darker – Dark Mode for Safari and Noir – Dark Mode for Safari.

Another big plus is the price. It’s very reasonably priced for what you get, and I honestly think it’s well worth the money. The combination of great features, eye-friendly browsing, and a simple overall experience makes Aurora a fantastic choice for Safari users.

If you’re looking for a dark-mode extension for Safari, I highly recommend giving Aurora a try. Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

### ***** "Perfect for Safari"
Even using ios filters at night to change the color of the screen didn’t help.
-- kayjet64, 2026-09-16

### ***** "Good Dark Mode"
Aurora is a great Safari dark mode app with a useful blacklist feature, letting you keep certain websites in their default light appearance. It works well overall and is easy to use. However, dark mode compatibility could be improved on search websites, where pages can sometimes look inconsistent. I tried other dark safari extension but the dark mode is bad but this is one is good as it also offers beyond dark mode themes so if you need a Safari extension that offers dark mode and more this is your app.

### ***** "Beautiful app"
I don’t have many safari extensions I keep active. This one is a must. I always keep Dark mode on and playing around with the font of any webpage is pretty fun. Get this!
-- theputer, 2026-08-13

### ***** "A must have!"
Aurora is beautiful and so easy to use! I would totally recommend it over other apps as I love the customization and themes that’s available and on top of that one purchase/subscription works on iOS, iPadOS, AND macOS! It’s definitely a must have if you’re in the Apple Ecosystem!
It’s also really nice that the developer made it so that you can test out the app and extension first before purchasing or subscribing unlike other apps in the same field.

Thank you for a wonderful app! Please keep up the amazing work! 😊

### ***** "Great!"
Had a couple issues early on, but the dev was on top of things and it's been smooth sailing ever since!
-- DrChilla, 2026-07-06

### ***** "Your Eyes Will Thank You"
Among the premier applications for enabling a dark theme in Safari—thereby easing eye strain, especially after dark, and also extending battery longevity—this solution comes strongly recommended.
-- IamJohnRT, 2026-06-15

### ****- "Dark mode hiccups here and there"
The app promise to be a great app, but it needs some refinement to integrate dark mode correctly into Safari for all the webpages, the ones that are little bit more complex and loaded with a lot of animations and stuff the app doesn’t display dark mode correctly and I should turn off the extension for that certain web page, that’s why the 4 stars only, but if this issues will solved than certainly it’s a 5 star app
-- Toto.89, 2026-06-14

### ***** "New experience"
That what safari was missing
-- -mZn-, 2026-06-14

### ***** "If you’re looking, you already need this."
Previously, I was using a similar bit of software, and had come across Aurora when exploring what else is out there.

I’m really glad I did, and if you are reading this, you already found yourself wanting to see what else is out there as well.

If you need a little assurance, you don’t know me, and I most certainly don’t know you - but we both found our way to Aurora. So, I’m gonna try to save you some time; don’t delay. I’m fairly certain you’ll love Aurora as much as I do!
