### ***** "Awesome App"
There is nothing hokey about this one! It’s accurate with its mapping and forecasting, lists its (mostly MIT) sources, and its easy to use. Even if you weren’t just using it to spin the globe around to see how the lights were interacting with the atmosphere above your house, there’s lots of graphs, sun photos, and data points to look at, more than I’ll ever use or figure out. One thing I would like to see is a section explaining exactly what all the different telephoto filters and graphs represent. It’s hard to search for all that on the internet without knowing what any of it means! One thing that I’d like to share; even if the map says that you have a 0° chance of seeing the northern lights, if the global map shows the colour relatively close, get out there with your phone on a tripod and point it north. If you can get a 30 second exposure on your photo, the camera will pick up some pretty crazy stuff! 
Overall, I use this app all the time! Love it !

I was in Iceland this summer. The app said 0% chance every night but everyone was talking about how beautiful the lights were the night before. 
Back home in Canada. It tells me 0% every night but my neighbours are sending me photos of the lights. 
Don’t waste your money on this app as I did.
