## Autel Explorer Reviews in United States

### *---- "Autel Bricks their EoL drones. Do not buy them!"
I have the Evo 1 drone that I got a number of years ago and has literally 30 minutes of flight time on it. I pull it out today in order to use it for aerial footage in a video shoot and the controller and drone will not connect. It’s been sitting in its box for 4 years and suddenly won’t work anymore. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. I will never be purchasing anything from Autel ever again and neither should you if this is how they treat their customers who spend $1000+ on their products. Disgusting.
-- Saidin43, 2025-01-16

### ***-- "Won’t record"
Sometimes it shows it’s recording when it’s not. I get home thinking I have some great shots and almost half are missing. Frustrating.
-- Cove Crasher, 2024-05-10

### *---- "Fix this problem"
App won’t let me set the custom controls or calibrated the drone.
-- beandaddy76, 2023-12-12

### ***-- "Buggy App!!!!!!"
If I change from video to photo, it will freeze until I close the app out completely and go back in and vice versa!!! Not good for work flow,

have to spend 2-5 minutes correcting the issue. I don’t have this issue using the controller. So it’s definitely the app!!
-- Mrmann1970, 2023-01-14

### *---- "Worked for one day"
Everything worked great for one day. Two 5 minute flights and all was good. The next day my iPhone was not linking to the controller. $2000 drone will be going back next week. I should have never left DJI.
-- Woohwowkskdp, 2022-09-18

### *---- "App and EVOII v2 needs major improvements"
Not sure if there is a problem with the chipset used in EvoII v2, or perhaps those chips used were substandard or perhaps the integration. With the App is still too buggy, either way the experience is regretful each day. Can Autel fix and give owners some better experience so we can feel confident about these drones?
I feel I wasted money buying this v2 drone.
-- Redhat_man, 2022-09-09

-- Idea for a better game, 2022-07-06

### *---- "Problem from the start"
This is the worst Drone I’ve ever purchased there’s problems from the startThe camera doesn’t work and the SD card will not register as being installed I do not recommend this company
-- will joehlin, 2022-04-20

### ***-- "Buggy"
The app still suffers from bugs that make the recording and photo switching in the app very slow and frustrating. I don’t have any new until you fix old ones.
-- marcmun37, 2022-02-17

### *---- "Latest update and firmware are flawed"
I have both and Evo and Evo 2 Pro and both suffer from a new flaw introduced December 2021 using digital zoom in single photo mode with RAW (DNG) files. Only JPEGs will show the zoomed photo you thought you took. Let me be clear: this bug causes all RAW photos to be 1.0 magnification, even when you use AEB (producing hilariously bad results), regardless of the setting and what you “see” in the preview.

This bug is a complete deal breaker on every conceivable level.
