… but why are the chords written preferentially using sharps … like me seeing c d# g a# for cmin7 or ab c d# for ab maj is kinda weird.

I love this app for songwriting! It works extremely well for finding chord progressions however I wish there were additional features. It would be even better if you could have the ability to shift up or down octaves. And it would be amazing if you also had the ability to add chord progression variations for different sections of a song (I.e chorus, verse, bridge). That’s all. Love the app thanks!

App is very limited.  For each song your limited to the seven triad chords (you can’t choose say sevenths) or leave your key.  Also looks like just 4 chords in 4/4 .  Hopefully developer can add more value than just changing colour themes for paid users.
