## Availability Messaging System Description
This app is only available for use by members of Fire and Emergency New Zealand.

Fire and Emergency New Zealand has identified the need for accurate, real-time information about the availability of volunteers to respond to fires and emergencies. We also need to know who is responding to a request to attend an incident so we can ensure we have the right people in the right place at the right time.

Get the most out of AMS:
- Automatically maps incident location.
- Indicate an incident response so your brigade members know exactly who is responding and how far away you are.
- In-brigade messaging functionality.
- Brigade and incident threshold alerts.
- Ability to schedule availability.

## Availability Messaging System Reviews in New Zealand

### ***** "Watch users"
Please develop a Apple Watch compatible app with alert sounds
-- Meiks22, 2024-12-26

### ***** "Brilliant"
Simply the best way to respond to emergencies! Great app with very responsive developers.
-- videotek, 2024-03-19

### **--- "AMS"
Hasn’t got full screen for setup 0220270033 david
-- Fire 97, 2023-10-29

### *---- "Buggy"
No longer works on iPad. Can this be fixed?
-- BobfromWaimak, 2022-02-26

### ***-- "App crashes"
App now crashes upon opening since update. I have an iPhone 6. Unfortunately not everyone can afford a brand new phone. The app was good when it worked...
-- StrikeMaster NZ, 2022-02-01

### **--- "Can’t enter app after update"
iphone 6 running 12.5.4 can’t enter app anymore without it glitching back to the home screen
-- Weather-witch, 2022-01-27

### ***-- "Availability"
On the new update it was supposed to automatically make you available and or unavailable when you entered or exited the perimeter set, this is not working, all location services are on and Gps tracking also
-- gfdredfhyggf, 2022-01-21

### ***-- "Notification bug"
Have noticed since new update that station alert sound isn’t working and it is instead always the AMS message alert (ding ding ding). Otherwise app works well.
-- Aussiewraith, 2021-07-22

### *---- "Location Notifications"
I receive constant notifications saying I am leaving the area would you like to update your status. This happens while not moving and I am well within range of the station. But I am less than 3km from the station. This seemed to coincide with the latest iPhone software update.

Other brigade members do not get any leaving the area notification, have not since we got the AMS system, but they desperately want it.
