The app worked the day I downloaded it. But that was the only time. Ever since then, it goes to a picture of a plane and stops - will not do anything else. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app - still won’t work. Very frustrating.

Everything takes so long to load. Somehow managed to sign up, but it doesn’t ever let me sign in and just goes to an infinite loading screen until it tells me I’ve been inactive for 20 minutes. Whole thing needs a redesign especially because people rely on the app to check on flight status and to check in. Do better

First time trying Avelo and pretty disappointed with the Apps reliability and functionality. Not only does Avelo not provide status updates in a general sense, but I’ve been unable to access the app for the past several hours, all it does is just have a spinning “wheel” on the home screen.  Pretty disconcerting since my flight has been delayed multiple times already and I’ve had to go on flightaware.com to check estimated arrival and departure times. Furthermore, one can’t even click on the my trips to see flight details and status as it says “you’ve already checked in.” I know i’ve checked in Avelo, what’s the latest update!? Instead one has to go to the separate “flight status” icon and manually input flt number or departure/arrival cities. Way behind other airline apps and could use signiifcant improvement.

app doesn’t show my flights under my flights and when i try to search with my confirmation number and name the whole screen glitches the f out and never loads. when does my flight in two days take off? couldn’t tell u

The designers and lead management for this app have clearly never taken key UX courses for mobile apps. This app is not intuitive for the user, nor efficient, nor inspiring. First tip: when I go to My Trip for a flight that I have already checked-in to, there should be a CLEAR and SIMPLE button that INSTANTLY shows my boarding ticket. This is the happy path. Do NOT make the user go to a tab that says “Check In” then select my name, then “print boarding pass” on a MOBILE PHONE. Your designers and engineers should take notes from the other major airline mobile apps. Your app will be your downfall. The cheap prices will not keep customers intrigued if your app is trash, like the web-browser it currently is. Make it better or fail.

I can search for flights, but booking them on the app is a nightmare. I always move to a laptop to book.

This is the worse airline app I’ve experienced.  I input all of our phone numbers and yet only one phone gets to put the flight ticket into it’s apple wallet. This, after having to send the tickets to the phones one by one.  Past flights do not show either.  I love the convenience and ease of flying Avelo, but the app leaves a lot to be desired.

I needed to cancel a flight due to sickness and was unable to do this 2+ hours before the flight took off. Because of this app and website not working, I was unable to successfully cancel the flight so I lost out on almost $200. Customer service did not deem it necessary to escalate this issue, even though I requested it be done. I will not be flying Avelo anymore and will fly with a competitor with better technology.

When tapping “manage trip” from home screen or from side bar menu, the screen blinks. It's apparent that the screen is trying to load but just can’t. I have screen recording the glitch.  The same happens when trying to access the manage trip via the link in the confirmation of booked flight email. 

All other selections seem to work fine (flight status, check-in, book flight, home).

Doesn’t work. Choose the outgoing airport, click, then go the app freezes. Cannot refresh or move anywhere. Close the app and log on to the website. Works fine.  Uninstalling and reinstalling as a last effort. I’ll delete the app if it fails one more time. Useless.
