App is great but there’s one issue. You can’t export and share via email the map along with its tracking feature but it works only if you airdrop it with your iphone. The email version with only open up the map only with no features if you have tracking recorded on your map. Hope they fix this issue in the future.

The steps a waste of time down under.
Paper maps can only do so much but Avenza pin points your exact location
Really, it really helps when you are out there doing geological or geophysical mapping. Plot photos along with location and remark infos.
Use every work day.Made my job so much easier and more accurate as I need to navigate to specific points on a map to measure work done by contractors.Also helps map out areas of concern,to pass on.Used on a samsung phone because of its IPX rating and it was cheap.Used a Garmin gps before but it was to limited in its environment ie adding maps you need a pc.The phone can also be a pretty good rescue tool at hand.
Downloaded the maps to use on iPad but try to open and shuts down every time
The user experience leaves much to be desired on iOS on an iPad. What about features to manage map alignment, orientation and scale easily (not just relying on gestures)? Could use the built-in compass as well.
I’m a biologist, and this is perfect for marking the locations of plants. All the other map apps suck, but I highly recommend this one.
