I tried a few more times as I didn’t believe a company could be so bad ..Each time oh yes no problem we can help you then oh no we can’t … What horrendous service … Footnote I eventually heard back from their mobile only dept .. They suggested doing pretty much everything I’d already done .Utterly useless …I retried all they suggested a second time to be sure .. No suggestions worked … So ..I’ve had this problem a few times when I ve been abroad but have given up trying to get help as it’s been so long winded … I guess I’ll have to put it down to having been scammed by AVG .. My son joined another VPN company for multiple devices and offered me free usage. So within the 30 days timeframe for refunds I cancelled my VPN with AVG and asked them to put my money back into my bank. The next day Nikki from AVG replied saying no problem but could I tell her why I had cancelled. I did so on 3rd October. As I heard nothing I asked again on the 10th, 13th, 19th of October and now again on 6th November. Honestly, on this extremely poor service I am unable to recommend the AVG service to any colleagues, friends or family. I’ll just take the matter further as the company has broken the contract set up between us.
