## Avigilon Alta Open Reviews in United States

### ***-- "Need a widget or automatic feature for gates please"
This app is great but it’s hard to open it every time I need to enter my neighborhood gate.
-- Alex Viola, 2025-07-28

### ****- "App for Apple Watch is useless"
The Alta Open app is a great time saver since I don’t have to get my card out of my wallet every single time and finally it’s now available on the Apple Watch. But the problem is that you still need to use your iPhone to unlock the gates. The app on the watch only shows you which gates you can access. Not a very useful feature in its current version.
-- Bumblehide, 2025-07-24

### **--- "Could be better"
Not the most functional app compared other similar alternative cloud based solutions. Wave-to-unlock and BLE almost never works without the app open. Adding support for Siri shortcuts in iOS would be extremely beneficial and convenient.
-- REDXR4, 2025-07-21

### ***-- "Fails to run in background on iPhone"
The application consistently fails to work and unlock doors when the application is running on the background on iOS.
I am constantly forced to unlock my phone, Face ID, and open the app specifically EVERY SINGLE TIME I want to unlock a door.

Doesn’t matter how many times I’ve reinstalled the app, updated the app, or optimized battery and background settings. It just doesn’t run stable in the background on iOS.

Also, there’s no unlock on Bluetooth proximity. 😩 means I have to take my phone out of my bag every time I want to open a door. They should be implementing BLE and UWB for proximity unlock.

It’s just frustrating.
-- usersUse, 2025-07-19

### *---- "Apple Watch app requires phone"
You have to have your phone to use the Apple Watch app. Making it useless
-- Jofy Peters, 2025-06-18

### *---- "Steals personal data"
Steals your Workout and Fitness data. Why would that be needed to unlock a door? It also records your location data, EVEN IF YOU DISABLE it in settings.
-- 1543<3, 2025-05-01

### ***** "Satisfecha"
Me parece muy efectiva esta aplicación
-- Wil quien, 2025-04-24

### ***** "God is good"
Adoration chapel give me the opportunity to be close to my savior and deep pray. Blessings
-- lumorez2020, 2025-04-14

### *---- "Will kill you phone battery"
If the apartment your are touring is using this system, don’t sign the lease. It’s frequently down, no app support, no key fobs

Edit: still killing the battery, still does not work half the times. There is a monthly fee paid by the apartment, unclear where it goes to as they won’t acknowledge issues nor fix them
-- noname19483, 2025-04-14

### **--- "No issue reporting"
The app turns your brightness to the full level, running down your battery every time you use it.
There’s no way to report this bug (that has been going on for years)
-- Tydence, 2025-04-01
