Worst app
I type in my user name and password than says I’ll get an activation code which never comes so now I’m standing in line for an hour
App is broken.
When signing up, the app complains that city is required, but no where is there a field to enter that item.
App won’t work and when you call to get assistance they jack the rate up
Useless app if you can’t use!
App - change type of vehicle
Very frustrating. On the app you can’t change the type of vehicle you want. Between trucks or cars.
App doesn’t work anymore
After using the express pass to exit and manage my rental for years, it now doesn’t work since I got president club. I am told to select a car then it tells me I can’t change my reservation and tells me to call the 800# with a 30-60 minute wait or go stand in line. This have been happening every few weeks for four months. Terrible app
Useless
Not sure why I’d use the app with an account when I get cheaper prices logged out of my account on the website. Make it make sense Avis. I don’t know what pricing algorithm AI nonsense is happening, but I’m rapidly losing respect for Avis despite positive past experiences. I’ve seen the same 3-day rental constantly fluctuate $50/day over a 2 hour window.
Booking
This APP could use a lot more work. Initially, I had three bookings, two of which paid in advance without my knowledge. The compact car I reserved was not available and I was forced to take a much larger car than I am comfortable driving. Your preferred line downstairs was longer than the non-preferred upstairs. All waiting in line did not get the car they had reserved.
Rental
I rent d a car to take my daughter and her friends to away for the weekend. I waited almost 3hrs for a car, nothing was available but an expedition (I wanted a regular car) they let me take the truck for the same price (super happy) I was supposed to bring it back on a Sunday but we all wanted to stay an xtra day. It was so easy to go on the app and extend it an additional day, no issues. I’ve never had an issue with these people. GREAT JOB AVIS!!!!! Highly recommend.
App never works
This app continues to disappoint! Not once out of the 100 rentals all over the U.S. has this app worked as advertised.
