When working, it’s a fairly good recreation of the board game, albeit not the original version of A&A but apparently a later edition with big changes to the territories, units and other game play rules. These changes could make the game interesting since old tricks and strategies no longer apply, but the freezes and crashes makes the game more frustrating than entertaining. Update version 1.0.4: Better, but I’m still having trouble, mostly with the combat screen. Particularly when having to choose weather to continue a battle or retreat. Pushing either button does nothing, but exiting the app and relaunching after a couple of seconds resolves the problem, but is rather annoying. The dice roll is also very difficult to follow.
