Axxess Home Health improves patient outcomes through built-in compliance features that incorporate clinical intelligence. Caregivers can save time and streamline mobile documentation with user-friendly notes and visit verification at the point of care.

Improve patient care communication and coordination with:

• Secure and real-time HIPAA-compliant messaging
• Simplified visit calendar and list views of past due, upcoming and completed visits
• Button to add new tasks and schedule patient visits (available to users with granted permissions)
• Comprehensive care plans and patient charts that include emergency and physician contacts, pharmacies, care team members, demographics, orders, medications, immunizations,     notes, visit history and more
• Signature and voice recording capabilities with automated date, time and location captures for electronic visit verification (EVV)
• Electronic ID badge to verify the clinician’s identity when arriving at a patient’s home

Streamline documentation with:

• Discipline-specific assessments and notes that include all required fields for compliance with Medicare and organizational policies and procedures, with the ability to document    everything from homebound status, medical equipment and supplies, emergency preparedness and travel mileage to vital signs, pain scales, labs and more
• Telehealth visit notes to monitor patients when in-person visits are not required
• Automated prompts, built-in narrative templates and an option to load previous notes (available to users with granted permissions) to save time entering patient data
• Real-time quality assurance validations to check for documentation errors and inconsistencies
• Ongoing access with or without an internet connection

I attempt to log in, it tells me I’m successfully logged in & as soon as I hit ok it takes me right back to the login screen? I’m very much confused, I thought an update was needed & it’s not that either so idk anymore.

Just make the typing work correctly. Communication notes are a disaster. Could only be 4 lines long then could only be altered by going thru gymnastics or deleting the entire message. Crashes regularly. Frequently doesn’t allow for visit verification.

### ***** "Amazing App that’s improved so much the past 6 months!"
I have been using Axxess since 2017 and the app since 2022 and I cannot tell you how much it has improved over the past 6 months! A lot of these poor reviews are old and reflect what the app used to be. A lot of clinicians I work with complain about the app but in reality it’s their device that is old or their OS/app isn’t updated to the latest version or they are a bit technologically challenged. Every app has glitches and this one is no exception but there’s no other HH app out there that even comes close to having the same functionality as Axxess. This app just keeps on getting better and better!

But Axxess is as close as I have seen and I have used many different point of care solutions. You will never find an app that is 100% the perfect solution for all users. As with any app, some updates may cause an unexpected use case or error, but Axxess has been good about correcting any issues quickly and effectively.

This app does have a lot of potential and easy to navigate. HOWEVER every second I get 3 to 5 errors when I try to click on anything. Sometimes it would kick me out of the app and have random glitches. I hope it can get fixed.

In many ways, Axxess is competitive or leads the field as a home health EMR. This app is NOT one of those ways, which is a real pity since it is the most important part of the EMR for our field staff. Axxess frequently releases buggy updates or straight up broken features. IT dept/help line is rarely helpful in my experience. Just this week Axxess dropped an update that made my life a living nightmare. Unable to document or collect EVV in the field. Deleted and re-installed to no effect. End result is that I took home ~2 hours of extra documentation that should have been done point of service. Unfortunately not a rare occurrence either, minor glitches happen ALL the time and MAJOR disruptions seem to happen 3-4 times per year. Axxess, you need better app developers and more robust beta testing. This is ridiculous.

After the last update, I am unable to open the “patients” tab. It forces the entire app down and closes out. I can’t access any patient info now. Makes it nearly impossible to do my job. 
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app with no luck.

App is pretty good once you learn how to use it correctly. I also have to make sure to keep up with the updates.  So far haven’t had very many problems that I can tally complain about most were user error.

This app is beyond frustrating. Nothing ever gets fixed. I have sent multiple emails outlining the vast deficiencies of this app.  Every version of the app is more complicated and requires more steps to do the same work. Home healthcare agencies you should avoid this app like the plague. It’s terribly inefficient and kills worker productivity.
