After numerous attempts, uninstall, reinstall of app I’m unable to pair the app with the glasses. Then when I try to use in standalone mode, it asked me for an activation key, which is nowhere to be found. When I click on support within the app, it wants me to setup a mail account on my phone. All Bluetooth access and tracking turned on as well. Tried to create an account prior to pairing too, but we need to pair first. What am I missing? This should not be this hard!

App is somewhat buggy. Constantly asking for your Rhythm inputs, but keeps asking even after you do it. Then says you’re below average without saying why or how to improve it. Overall very unhelpful app.

AYO glasses have been good so far, but this app is worthless. It may look nice, but it’s providing me no value whatsoever.   Even the basic questionnaire is so poor that it doesn’t distinguish between my natural circadian rhythm and the schedule I’m trying to be on.

If you are looking for jet lag use, look elsewhere. There’s “Social Jet lag” marketing.

Love the glasses and the app. Just after one day I can feel the difference. I get up at 6am and in the winter the sun doesn’t come up until 830am and it’s too cool to be outside. This is a game changer!!! Can’t wait until they add the functionality for travel.

### *---- "Where are the improvements"
This app was always sold on its potential, that they were going to make it great and those of us who bought in were led to believe there were significant improvements that would enhance the functionality of the AYO glasses and enable dialing in personal chronobiology.  The reality is entirely different. This app goes nowhere. Either the company is about to collapse and they don’t have money to build what they promised or they’re the most dysfunctional app developers in existence.  Either way, there is real dysfunction going on here that should give prospective customers pause about buying in.

UPDATE 06/2025:  they announced a major update with a lot of fanfare only to bury in the fine print that the useful stuff wasn’t there and is coming later. This company and their app dev effort is a train wreck.  Where’s the independent red light sessions or the Apple health integration?  Kind of basics.  Just not there.  If you buy in to this mess, just expect a frustrating experience.

The app is a waste. Completely not worth the exorbitant fee that the app costs. Seems like a complete money grab. The glasses work well, but they could have implemented the app functionality into the glasses themselves. They just wanted to charge you extra for a useless app. It’s genuinely embarrassing for the company.

### *---- "Waste of Money, subpar app & crazy expensive"
I’ve been using the AYO glasses for a week and they have been a game changer. My morning routine has been so much more consistent. I feel like I have so much more energy and find it’s easier to get going in the morning. The app on the other hand doesn’t really have any purpose. I find tracking my circadian rhythm to be much easier on many different apps that cost less and or free. I’m hoping that in the future they do something that adds value since I spent an extra $100 for the lifetime membership. Anyone looking into if the app is worth the extra money my answer would be a clear no. AYO has a lot of work to do and needs to do a much better job at clearly explained what functionality people are getting by purchasing a membership. For my I will continue to use AUTOSLEEP tracker which cost a few dollars for a lifetime.
