"Keeping the Art of Zombie Warfare Alive" What would you do if you were dropped in the middle of zombie infested woods with only the clothes on your back? Your challenge is to survive more than 5 minutes. You must forage for weapons, food and water. Accomplish all of the above in under 5 minutes or you will die. In addition to the Zombies, Drone soldiers also patrol the area and will fire upon you. To pick up objects get your crosshairs on it and tap the hand to retrieve it. Swipe the screen to look around. The Army Zombie Operations Training Center (ZOTC) consists of 23,000 acres of single and double canopy jungle and forest. ZOTC provides the United States Army the only live fire zombie environment to train infantry units in the art of zombie warfare. Fort Apocalypse is surrounded on the North and North-West by the Sea, on the South and South-West by rivers and the East by the bay and the lake. The cross-compartmentalized terrain on the ZOTC consists of rolling hills, numerous tributaries, mangrove swamps and coastline. This training area is a unique and challenging training environment. Some pointers you may find helpful if you survive longer than 5 minutes. Ambush: Ambushes are a favored tactic in the school. The dense vegetation and relatively few roads and trails make them very effective. Be alert because the enemy can come from any direction, forcing you to re-orient your ambush. Remember that the trees and foliage reduce the effective range of your weapons. Minimize movement in the ambush area, especially at night. The dense vegetation and lack of ambient light can cause you to make a lot of noise. Reconnoiter your ambush site and, if time allows, set in during daylight hours. Reconnaissance: Do not wear helmets; they degrade your hearing and reduce your peripheral vision. Travel in a series of short, deliberate movements. Your maximum cross-country speed should be 200 - 300 meters per hour. Take listening halts. Avoid trails and natural lines of drift whenever possible. If you must move on a trail, travel slowly. Carry water and more than your basic load of ammunition. Expend it liberally to break contact. Always remember that you are the "Indians," not the "cavalry." Hasty Attack/React to Contact. Due to the limited visibility of the jungle, the hasty attack is the most likely scenario. React quickly with every weapon that you can bring to bear as soon as you contact the enemy. Gain immediate fire superiority and keep it. Do not wait for a clear visual target to open fire. Fire at smoke, muzzle flashes, or by sound. Otherwise, the enemy will gain fire superiority. Deliberate Attack: Keep in mind that most successful counterattacks take place within 15-20 minutes of the enemy leaving the objective. Establish your limit of advance (LOA) after careful consideration of the terrain. If at all possible, establish it along a easily discernible terrain feature. Task-organize to provide 360-degree security on the objective as you sweep to the LOA. Reconnoiter the near side of the objective first. Do a far side reconnaissance of the objective after you have cleared between the LOA and the objective. This will dramatically reduce your chances of compromise. Consider using an indirect fire preparation of the objective. Be aware of stay-behind “Nasties” as you approach the objective. ## AZOTC Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple3/v4/0a/38/17/0a38177a-45de-8c65-3c2a-17d083425662/pr_source.jpg/960x640.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple5/v4/f1/cc/07/f1cc07d3-73d3-6832-9029-6df71f0b0a0c/pr_source.jpg/960x640.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple4/v4/5b/dd/db/5bdddba8-0cea-182b-7150-32f6ed067970/pr_source.jpg/960x640.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple5/v4/99/5d/6c/995d6c56-f168-cbcc-a88b-4ad23d58a123/pr_source.jpg/960x640.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple3/v4/67/e8/03/67e80389-21d4-4e4b-3bfd-c10fd96a94dc/pr_source.JPG/960x640.png) ## AZOTC Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 5 (24%) - 4 stars: 2 (10%) - 3 stars: 2 (10%) - 2 stars: 6 (29%) - 1 stars: 6 (29%) ## AZOTC Reviews in United States ### ***-- "Good potential" It seemed fun but it lags a bunch for my iPod 5 and makes it unplayable hope this gets fixed soon -- Ethan: Templar, 2015-06-17 ### **--- "To hard to control" I'm having a lot of lag and the sensitivity is way to high -- Dr. Lafo, 2015-03-21 ### **--- "1 thing that ruins everything about this game" I think the game is ok it's just the controls. When you walk or look around it goes really slow and freezes for a second then when you move again it happens. I think this would be an awesome game if you can fix the slow problem. That's all..... -- Cod21 hipster 21zombies, 2015-03-01 ### ***** "Hunting rather than guns a blazin" I found that while the game was quick paced with zombies but the drones require the Svd ak at start by the fence for maximum efficiency (A sniper with a 10 round clip!) the ammo is pretty plentiful and the game is great. Good job guys -- Meh_Monica, 2014-12-03 ### ****- "Good" Good graphics (for ipad) but game have problems with conrolling player and playability. It's not easy now to play -- andrew.usa, 2014-11-03 ### ***** "Great app, as long as you have the right device" First off, this is a great game. Execution phenomenal, and nice play feel. The only 2 problems are the super high sensitivity and the fact that when it says "Optimized for iPhone 5", it's telling the truth. I play it all the time on my phone and fps is no problem, very nice on that, but the look sensitivity needs to be changed. Other than that, great buy except if you have something like an iPad mini. I played it on here and can definitely see the fps making it unplayable. Other than that, a simple update and this would be a top of the line for everybody. Great job devs. -- Haydhfjdjdhdjsfjkf, 2014-10-29 ### ***** "Real deal!!!" I love playing this during idle. Great graphics and effects. I am recommending to my friends. -- Zeckyrah, 2014-10-28 ### **--- "Might have potential" If u fix the bugs, up the fps and make it less laggy, this would be an awesome game. Ps the pause button isn't access able because the x-axis control stick is in the way. Fix those and this game would be awesome -- Zombiez101brian, 2014-10-23 ### **--- "6 p's" Proper Planning Prevents P!$$ Poor Performance If they planned on beta testing this on actual hardware they would have realized that even though the idea is good the gameplay is terrible, List of glitches Turning drops frame rate to the point you can't aim Zombies "bite" you from a distance You don't "change weapons" you discard the one you are using to go to the next inventory slot - switching from the shotgun to the sniper rifle requires throwing the sniper rifle on the ground Good luck picking anything up with the terrible frame rate I'm sure there are a lot more glitches but I can't handle playing by the time I leave the "house" you start at -- durkadurkha, 2014-10-23 ### *---- "Would be 5 star but no" It shoots down to 1 fps when I turn or do anything that involves movement. When I stop moving it goes back to normal speed. !!!FIX THIS AND IT WILL BE A GREAT APP!!! -- Evynhenryryan, 2014-10-22 [View all AZOTC reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Apps Similar to AZOTC -
