BA II Plus™ Financial Calc Reviews
Leaves a lot to desire in UI
- Please consider adding visual and haptic indicators/feedback for key press. It's hard to know if I have pressed a function key or not, unless I either go ahead with incorrect input and hence answer, or start again.
- There should be colour themes for all your BA II pro, grey one as well as the current black-red, so it's a seamless experience when I move between the app and physical calculator
- Finally, if you really want to make it better, consider adding a history feature to be able to go through the last few, say 50-100, calculations
Ruined after update
They have updated the app so it is no longer full screen on iPhone 7 and it’s no longer a complete copy the Texas Instruments BA II calculator. I downloaded this to be familiar with the physical calculator whilst travelling ahead of exams and the updates have now ruined this for no apparent reason. Doesn’t even look nice!
Interface has changed!
What’s happened to the interface? No longer is the app an exact replica of the hardware device which I know and love so very much. Now the interface has changed, it looks different, it’s not what I bought and I’d like my old interface back please!
Perfect for CFA, CIPM, CAIA
This has been perfect for my CFA, CIPM and CAIA revision. Of course this is not a replacement for the physical calculator, but it is accessible wherever you are, in Kaplan classes or in Starbucks. It has full functionality of the real thing. I sometimes use it instead of the Apple iPhone calculator. It is simply easy to use and works.
Jackpot!!
Beware of apps that claim to emulate this calculator.
This app is made by Texas Instruments
It works perfectly, and as such, is well worth the £14+ one off payment.
I can now use this without having to take the real calculator with me.
Very nice work TI👍👍👍👍👍✔️✔️
Works perfectly
Forgot my calculator before a tutorial and found this app. Calculator works perfectly, although costly, definitely worth it!
Display Not iOS 8 Compatible
This is a really useful calculator but following latest iOS update the screen has gone weird.
CF calcs don't work
The cash flow entry doesn't work which makes me wonder how many other bugs there are.....
Works like it’s supposed to
No frills, works like it’s supposed to. Used it to prep for all three levels of the CFA.
Design Looks Horrible
Go back to the previous design that replicated the physical calculator.
