Do not be conned by this app and subscription. They will repeatedly take your money and you will progress very little. I have paid for this app for 7 years. I do not know enough Spanish to visit any Spanish speaking country. Their claims will tell you that you can learn the language in much shorter periods. It’s a con. I have learn more useful Japanese in 3 week free introductory trial with duo lingo than I did Spanish in 7 years with a Babbel. Babbel is a typical German product, high cost, big on claims low on delivery. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APP AND WARN YOU NOT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Impossible to cancel.
Tried to cancel the auto renew but the link to do so couldn’t be found. Help was no help. Don’t waste your money.
Speaking
When speaking in the word in Spanish before I finish even the first letter of the word it fails me
Great app for learning a language
I love this i am learning Spanish and this really helps I just wish it was free
Babbel completely reset my progress to zero
I had a break from using the app and it completely lost my place and wants me to start over. Since you can’t select which lesson you want to do, it’s forcing me to start all over again. Interface is clunky on the iPad, forcing you into landscape format and obscuring parts of the page. The dialogues assume a lot of knowledge using words you’ve never seen before.
Lost Lessons
This is a great app. Especially for travel although there are so many more basic phrases that should be used before some family ones I do have a big problem though, I changed to a new phone and my lessons went from number 12 to lesson 1. Hope someone at Babbel can help
Accidentally Inlove
I honestly just wanted to do the trial. Then I forgot to unsubscribe so I was charged. After a month, I’m totally lovin it. No regrets. Might keep this subscription until I become fluent in Spanish.
Fantastic!!
I changed to babel from another app I’ve been using and I’m amazed how well structured babel is I wish I had started learning with babel earlier!
