Well planned

I am Learning Polish because my girlfriend is from Poland. Not an easy language but this course is just about the right entry level. I didn’t have much time the last few weeks but now I have a better opportunity timewise.

Good app but has many bugs

drunkZombie_101 on

Finland

While the course structure and learning experience is much better than many other apps, there are some fundamental bugs in the app which hinder with learning like in dialogue completion mode the keyboard would hide the text to complete beneath it and therefore make it hard to see and fill the blanks

When i bought my full subscription last year it was advertised that live classes are included and now it says i have to pay for a different subscription for them? Really? Please explain. If that's how it really is now, i want a refund for the rest of my subscription

I like it so far

I’ve been using this app for 15 days, started learning Swedish and so far it’s pretty good! I tried another app before (well known one) with other language, and compared to that, I prefer the Babbel’s approach more. All I was expecting from it is to build some vocabulary, but it also gives some information about nuances of language and some interesting facts, like which word is more suitable to use in which situation. Also, I didn’t expect to learn pronunciation, which it pretty tricky in Swedish, and it is a good surprise! The review feature is very useful, and done right. I’m impressed by it and already learned some basics. Thanks to developers for this app, and please, add Finnish!

English-English version

The app is okay but it should have English-English version to improve grammar and pronunciation in English as well. :)

Almost a Bullseye

Quick Silverang on

Finland

I switched to Babbel from Duolingo and I have been quite satisfied with the change in learning g methods and the way I can tailor it to my needs and habits. I also prefer it’s lack of Strava-like competitive elements. What Imam disappointed with is the lack of content once you get to the end of B2. There is only one C1 grammar section and after that you are forced to go back to lower levels. There should be plenty of content for people who want to proceed all the way to C2. Quick Silver

Don’t update swedish lessons

Hey, the time playing has been really great. I wonder though why I can’t review learned words more often. The problem is this: when I want to review, I get an reply: Unknown error, please try again. I hope you get this taken care of quickly.
