How could I have $299.99?

Lily Noah123 on

United States

I wanted to learn French for fun but when I was going to do the other lessons they were ALL locked? I think I’ll download another app or just stick to Duolingo. Welp I hope you see this!

They are pricing out the middle class

Ddort on

United States

The app is great. They also offer live classes. Last year they offered 12 months of 1-on-1 classes for $468/yr. This year they have raised the price to $1800/yr. They only want language classes to be available to the rich.

Having to pay

Dulingo is better on

United States

I can only do the first language practice then I have to pay for it. When all I want to do is do it for free. I recommend Dulingo, everything is free and you can learn a language fast and in an easy/fun way.

Horrible support

Jimmmmmmmsssslll on

United States

Terrible can’t access and no support and continues billing

Not effective

Yulijuls on

United States

I found some aspects of the program helpful, like the stories, but as a whole a waste of money.

Speed

Englebird on

United States

I wish I could slow some areas.

updates are terrific

I’m especially happy about the microphone changes. I used to have a lot of trouble with the speaking parts, especially when my internet connection was worse than usual. I never knew if it was me or the machine that was wrong. The new “button” to hold while speaking seems to have eliminated all of the problems I had.

Can you please add Ukrainian?

Why do I have to pay to learn

quin@1234 on

United States

Make it free!!!! I got the app to learn Italian for FREE and it only let me do one lesson before charging me to continue. I can not do anything without paying and for me who is not making so much money it is impossible! I want to learn but do not want to pay making your app impossible. LET ME LEARN FOR FREE PLEASE.

Bootycheeks but could have been good

TrentToons on

United States

They trick you into thinking that you can use it for free but you can either review the two words they taught you over and over again or pay your left kidney to learn Russian. I mean the app is better than Duolingo and I know I sound cheap but my point still remains, it would make sense if you had the ability to actually learn the language and receive ads, or you could like get ai stuff only available if you pay but no! They literally lie to you saying “learn ___ for free” so they rope you in, rant over TL:DR make sure you have a lot of money
